Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort of Ichmeler is fantastic with loads of bars and shops but without being too loud you do get asked to come into all of the bars when walking around but just say no and move on there is a market on every Wednesday which is packed but you can get loads of bargins we went on a all day boat trip about £9 each had a turkish bath about £5 each and went to the water park by the beach in Maramis about £12 each with transport which was all excellent and value for the money i would defo recommend this resort to anyone young and old.

Visited September 2010. Very busy and friendly as usual. The main thing I noticed was that the hustling had calmed down. Very lively, very enjoyable, very friendly.

The place was great, although we went toward the end of the season, there was still a lot going on and many shows that we could see.
We didn't venture down to the beach front too much as this is where you tend to get the most hassle. But the rest of the town was ok.
The best place for a good deal was down by the canal, but remember to haggle!!!

resort is nice and clean would recommend this resort rather than marmarris its self. plenty off different entertainment for all ages. wasn't on the beach but walked along the prom and the beach wes always busy and looked to be off a high standard

This resort location is very well situated, and clean and welcoming and beach was meters from our Hotel and was immaculate all the time, the surrounding Hotels and streets were always clean never seem litter around at all, the pubs and clubs were plentiful and always lively and busy although quite in the day, they come alive at night, a lot off shops and greatly located within the resort and cheap, the canal market is the best place to go for bargains and striking a good deal, if you cheeky with the sellers they and will give you a good deal it was great, also down the canal good location for lovely pubs and for eating out, the food eating out was a good deal full English was 5 lira, their beer 5 lira for a pint and it was strong and takes a bit to get used too, but ok, the staff always wait on you no worries, so always leave a tip, they are happy, and they remember you time after time, and always polite towards you, so all in all great location for shopping, night out, and food and drinking can’t fault the resort location and be happy to go again and again.

A beautiful place. Very clean.The flowers on the promenade and the canal area are lovely. The people are very friendly and helpful if you need anything.There is a great selection of shops and restaurants and bars to suit every taste.Haggling is great fun once you get the hang of it.The bus and water taxis are a great way to get around and very cheap.This is a beautiful part of turkey we will be returning soon

Whilst our Hotel was in a nice location i am sorry but the resort centre to be honest is a dump and the beach is dirty would not go back for holiday

Icmeler town has lots of fine eating places & bars with varied entertainment (good is Sony’s for eating & Scotia Bar for drinks).
WORD OF WARNING – do not exchange currency at the exchange next door to the Black & White hairdressers as they take so called ‘Government Tax’ without notification when they feel like it regardless of what their board is displaying.

The resort of Icmeler is beautiful stunning views of the mountains wherever you stay. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is OK a bit shingly, not the best beach if 'beaches' are your thing but adequate. The apartments are about a 20 minute walk from the beach.
