Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

love icmeler, just what you need if you want quiet you can find it and if you want loud there is lots of that

icmeler seems a beautiful resort and we would go back there. but not within a mile of that hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

This was our first time in Turkey and will deffinately go back to Icmeler again. The resort is clean, plent of bars and restaurants to choose from. People very nice, staff try to get you to use their bar/restaurant or look in the shops all the time, just be polite and tell them maybe later. Beach sandy but quite rocky at the edge of the sea. Not as cheap as people have said it was previously, food/drink costs about the same at the UK.

We went to the beach which was very clean and relaxing and took part in the variety of the water sports they had available...can't wait to return next year. I never thought this type of holiday wasfor me but it is one of the best holidays i have ever had.

Was so disappointed in Icmeler in July 2010. Previously visited in 2005 and 2002 in September and Olu in 2000. Now set up for the British market.V international feel. You could have been any where in the world no turkish atmosphere. But you still have the turkish pushiness to contend with. They really don't like you not buying from them or going into their bar. And Turkey isnt cheap anymore esp for drinks. Sadly will not be going back any time soon

Icemeler is a lovely little resort. Not as busy as Marmaris but more than enough to keep you going over two weeks. Go to Sevgis Bar just outside the Hotel Aqua and you will not be made more welcome. The Love Boat is a must if you like a nice meal out of the hotel for a change but there are many more nice restaurants in the resort. The people of Icemeler are very friendly.

Lots of hustle and bustle, if anything to many shops and stalls trying to sell you the same thing. Beach is nice but rather small although very clean. Got the impression they are trying to take the resort upmarket and it is getting expensive. Enjoyed the various boat trips on offer.

didnt go last year but in the year alot has changed many businesses have shut down so that ment lots of my friends werent there.
