Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

couldnt fault cleanliness in resort at all.
entertainment was mainly boom boom music.
beach standard was good and clean
probably wouldnt visit turkey again, found the hassling too much and quite sleazy a lot of the time

Nice clean resort, you do get a lot of hassle from bar/restaurant owners which can become a bit tiring after 2 weeks.
Entertainment the same throughout the resort it consists of a robot, Michael Jackson, Tina turner, Freddie mercury, although i only saw the robot and Michael Jackson for the whole of the two weeks even when Tina turner was advertised Michael Jackson turned up instead.
Turkeys motto is if you can make it we can fake it and that they do at exceptional quality, quality is better in the shops in icmeler than at market and the ugg boots in shops are fab but do shop around as quality can differ
The Wednesday market is a nightmare and ladies cover up as the men will touch!! once your in the market there seems no way out and the jokes get boring after you have heard them 10 times, as cheap as chips, as cheap as asda, salvation army, primark and it goes on.
Always ask for prices in turkish and check your converter as their exchange rate is not the same as yours!!
Stay away from Joeys bar or joes bar as literally grabbed my wrists dragged me in to sit me in front of a table of local teenagers aged around 14-16 doing drugs! then called me a gypsy when i walked out.! (on the same road as linkers bar.
Also friends bar what a joke spilt a drink down my partners back laughed walked off and stated you’re not getting anything for free that’s all you English are after.
Amegos is excellent for steak best steak ever and cheapest on island will do you a deal if you ask also Elvis bar (on the same road)friendly lively bar staff you will need to ask how to get to these as depending on where you are staying can be a little out of the way but well worth it.
Mandolin best restaurant, excellent value ate their about 4 times.
All in all a nice resort i would go back to, not to loud but not too quiet, a nice market around the canal and friendly staff.
Ladies the restaurants all play romantic music their fav being Eric Clapton wonderful tonight, they will look into your eyes kiss your hand wink at you tell you that you are the most beautiful creature that they have ever seen and it continues you will all get this treatment weather you are fat thin, old bald grey etc etc the lads are very attractive so be careful!! dont be sucked in!!

I would definatley go back to icmeler it was very clean and the people were lovely. There are lots of very nice resturants and lots of parks for the kids and the boat trips were excellent value for money we loved it.

first time here in june loved it place was fairly cheap and i got a taste for the efes, beach looked clean but bit pebbly but never stayed kids prefered the pool.

This was our 8th time in Icmeler so you can see we like it every one is always friendly and will go out of there way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. not a place you will want to go all inclusive as that would mean you miss out on the excellent bars and restaurants who serve up top rate fare and will cater for all tastes even the most awkward customers. The beach is lovely and clean and the beach boys will cater for your every whim (drinks snacks and ices) a boat trip is a must at least once on your stay as it offers some fantastic scenery and Christal clear seas. The main thing with Icmeler is it feels safe its clean friendly and above all a wonderful place to spend your hard earned holidays

The resort is great! bus takes you into the centre of the resort plenty of bars & resteraunts reasonable prices try Harry Rams resteraunt very pleasant fresh food & cheap the beach is shingle & can get very busy, Turkish baths are a must, boat trips are great but dont book through reps book ozzys he is the cheapest can find him near the romance resteraunt all in all a great place and will be going back in September.

lovely clean sand beach, but there were a couple of noisy bars when our brochure had said it was a quiet resort, but kept away from the noisier bars and really enjoyed the holiday, would certainly go again.

icmeler,lovely beach,quiet (early may)but with plenty of entertainment both day & night. bars cafes restaurants in abundance but not pushy,unlike big neighbour marmaris.

icmeler as a resort is fabulous it has everything on offer that you can possibly want. Where ever you stay is not to far away from the beach and there is lots of entertainment on offer ever night. A great place to visit is roses palce, it is a little tooked away but very worth finding its just stunning. Also christines place is fab to eat and also go along for the quiz its a really great night. Having gone on holiday with the children there is plenty on offer for them to do and all the places make them feel welcome.
