Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is lovely. it is very safe and everyone is really friendly. Lots of nice restuarants and bars. One to visit is Venice on the canal as you will get a superb meal and good entertainment. You can get a dolmus to Marmaris and they stop anywhere for you and run very regular services.

Icmeler is a beautiful town with so much to explore and enjoy. The weekly market was a highlight of my holiday and the beach has a very clear and clean sea which was lovely to swim in. The town offers a great range of places to eat of which the food, service and entertainment was always excellent.

Icmeler is a really nice resort, pretty quiet when we were there (end of May) a really nice beach with all the usual watersports, the locals were all really nice, and dont be put off by being hassled, it doesnt really happen, you obviuosly get waiters asking you to have a look at the menus but there are all really friendly about it, you can walk from one end of Icmeler to the other along the beach front in around 25mins so its not a big resort, there are plenty of bars, restaurants for all tastes and all within easy walking distance, I would go back to this resort again

We found the resort to be lovely and clean, even though there didnt seem to be any bins about. plenty of lively bars without being rowdy, venice is particularly good for food and entertainment but you have to book a table as once people are in ther they dont tend to go until closing! The one disappointing thing is that music has to stop at midnight. The beach looks like it has had new sand put on it as it was lovely and soft and golden, the couple we went with said it wasnt like that when they went a few years ago.

Resort is very cleam
Resort entertainment is still very poor and stuck in a rut. Still the same dancing waiters, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Freddie Mercury shows that I first saw many years ago. Come on Icmeler bring us up to date
Beach is full of shingle a small stones. Plenty of sunbeds and only about £1 per day
Lively and quiet resort, whatever you want to make of it. Plenty of restaurants with good quality food at reasonable prices

Dont think there have been many changes really, but the refurbishments of the old Elif and the Chateau de Ville look very impressive. The area near the Prince and Cupids look great too. Most bars and restaurants were really quiet, hope things liven up a bit. Had a bit of a scare during our first after having my drink spiked in a bar, luckily my friend realised and managed to get me home and during the second week we were threatened by a guy who was angry because we wouldnt accept his offer of a lift home, getting out his car and shouting at us. The lovely man from the kebab shop outside Pleasure came to our rescue and kindly walked us home. Never been afraid or worried at all during our previous 12 visits to Icmeler, but we are now wary of where we visit and how we get home.

The resort is nice and compact - easy to find your way around after a couple of days.
Most of the shops and restaurants sell the same stuff so if you are looking for fine dining then this is not the place to go. Ever meal is served with chips, veg, rice and salad, but a lot of the food tastes the same even though it is nice!
Beer is cheap, spirits and soft drinks can only be described as scandallous!
The beach is beautiful, but the sand is mixed with shingle.
