Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

resort is for couples and familes plenty to do and see beach toys ect all very friendly staff

as i went at end of season a lot of places where quiet but normally pretty lively
Beach is a fine gravel sand mix but still very nice you get offered sunbeds for about £2-3 but quiet a few bars offer free sunbeds.
will definatley return to icmeler

The resort of icmeler is small and friendly. Very clean, most bars have entertainment of some sorts on each night even late in the season when we went. the beach is lovely and clean. Plenty of sunbeds available for hire. Would definetly visit again.

I have been to Icmeler many times and its my favourite place in Turkey.
The locals are very friendly and welcome you like old friends.
Lots of restaurants and bars are very modern and serve excellent food.
The path along the front,pine walk, which was renewed in 2007 is beautiful and a very popular place on an evening.
The canal area is also very nice with lots of stalls selling everything.
There is no hassle in the resort as they get closed down for 3 days if caught.The music is turned off at midnight so doesnt affect anyone wanting to have an early night.
The old village area quieter than the main resort and many local families live here.
Its a beautiful scenic resort and a place I will never get tired of visiting.

Icmeler is very nice and clean.entetainment is good to (go to the vennice bar)beach is fine but it is not soft sand we will go back again.

Didn't like Icmeler town itself. Constantly hassled if you as much as went near a shop. Too many British pubs,eating places and fake designer shops. Not in the slightest bit Turkish.

the resort was great lots of bars,shops went to many markets used the dolmus (mini buses) realy good servis and only 2.lira from marmaris to icmiler or taxi boat 7.5lira all in all good value for money spent very little , a fuul english breakfast cost 5 lira approx £2.17p

Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants throughout Icmeler.Clean resort and easy to walk around. Memorable restaurants were Tin Tins and the Black Sea Resaurant tho the standard of food was excellent where ever we ate in Icmeler.The beach is lovely with plenty of water activites on offer. The weather was fantastic even in October. Cant wait to return to this lovely resort.

The resort of icmeler is such a beautiful place, there are loads places to go and things to do. Been over 10 times now and have still not tired of the place.
There are 100's of bars, restaurants and cafes around icmeler and there really is something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a nice quiet restaurant or a noisy bar. Most places are restaurants till 10pm, which is when the music starts, then turn into bars until midnight (which is when the music must go off) there are tina turner shows, michael jackson, elvis, dirty dancing. Places I would recommend are Dreamboys which is located in the centre on the canal and The Dream Three Bells which is near the beach. For the younger generation there are 2 nightclubs in icmeler (eastenders and pleasure) which open around 1am and close at 4am...foam parties are held at both which are a great laugh!
The beach in icmeler is not so much sand but not shingles either, it's kind of a cross between the two. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach. There are also watersports available; ringo's, banana boat, jet ski's, pedalo's ect.

Great resort! The people are so friendly loved the boat trip and the restaurants and of course the shops!
We did get pestered a bit from shop staff but we would all love to go back one day and the weather in september was just right hot but not too hot.
we only went the beach once we prefered the coach trips pool,shopping etc ,lots of trips to choose from we all thought it was a great holiday.
