Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort of Icemeler is very pleasant,the canal walk both sides has small shops and lots of restaurants,lots of flowers and shrubs well tended,lots of photo opportunities.A flat walk on a wide path going right down to the harbour where the ferry boats are moored,right up through the other end to eventually Marmaris which could take approx. an hour or more with lovely views on the way.We found Icemeler a fairly gentle resort in comparison to Marmaris.If walking was too much, there were several opportunities to take the water taxi along the way between the two resorts,and to go even further to other resorts.

we found the resort of icmeler to be very clean and rubbish free, it was a pleasure to walk down the streets, from what we could see the only entertainment was in the various bars and hotels but as we travelled with children we were not looking for evening entertainment. the beach was very clean and there were plenty of sunbeds and they were resonably priced if you wanted to use them. we hope to visit icmeler again next year and would recommend it.

We stayed in Icmelor and it is a lovely place, all the locals were extremely friendly and hospitable, my sn has blond hair and blue eyes so was a hit with many people who wanted to touch him and he always got a free dessert sent over wherecer we ate. Would recommend Dreamboys Restaurant the food was amazing and Alex the head waiter serves your cocktails from a tray balanced on his head. The irish bar is also a great place lots of entertainment from the staff who work tirelessy to ensure you enjoy yourself.

The resort is very clean and easy to walk around.
A trip to Marmaris on a Dolmus is very cheap and well worth while.

Icmeler is beautiful...
You do get a lot of bars/restraunts trying to drag you in off the street for your custom, but thats Turkey for you.
The beaches are shingle not sand.. so kids cant really play.

We were just outside Icemeler and it only took a lovely 5-10 minute stroll along the promenade to reach. The street market was good and not too hassleing and there were enough shops for some treats without being too ott. Resteraunts everywhere and the couple we tried were fabulous and always had a driver on hand to take you back to the hotel if required. We would happily stay in the resort but our hotel just outside was too good to miss.

ther is not a lot we can say the resort is brill thats why we visit every year the only complaint is its very price to get from airport to resort and back to airport thats the only thing i would like it to be abit cheeper

We only stayed 3 days this time due to the volcanic ash problem, but my sister who we travelled with had stayed in the resort before and she was happy to revisit.

The Beach Was a bit of a downer for us because it had hardly any sand and nothing really to do on there. The resort was very clean and comfortable to stay in.

icmeler is a lovely resort been going on and off last 12 years recommend the love boat for a lovely meal the gentlemen working there are polite and know their job lovely food they cant do enough for you
