Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort Icmeler is a very nice place and there is always something going on on for you to do. Although Icmeler is very quiet and more for familys but if you want a more lively night out you can visit marmaris! The staff in all the bars are very friendly and will do anything for you ever!
The beach is nice but I have seen better.
We will both be visiting Icmeler again next year and we reccomend to every one you will love it!

Loved Icmeler and the staff in the restaurants are very friendly, they love the kids. Had 2 kids birthday parties there and they couldn't do enough.
Only draw back was trying to shop but it's the same all over, keep hold of your kids hands or the next thing you'll be kitting them out from head to toe including the jewelery!!!!
Lots to do and would recommend one of the jeep safaris whether 6 or 65 (which our party of 11 were!) we all acted like kids.

Plenty of choices for the evenings. If you wanted quiet it was available, if you wanted crazy it was available and everything inbetween. Beach had sunbeds, but not too many. Kept clean and had safety areas for swimming. The resort is not too big now and hopefully that's how it will stay. I will go back if it remains this good.

Icmeler is lovely and there are many lovely places to eat especially the Venice(on the canal) and if you like freshly made pasta the cavalier(last bar on the promenade towards marmaris).
The beach is shingle mixed with sand and the children did not enjoy this at all, much preferring to stay at the hotel during the day.
The water taxi to Marmaris is very enjoyable, however we much preferred icemeler as it is not as busy, and although you are hassled in icemeler it is not as full on as marmaris.Anyway a fantastic time had by all and cannot wait to return.

The resort is a very beautiful place it has changed a lot in the last 2 years.
I went to Icmeler in October 03 it was a lot more quiet then, but it just adds to the atmosphere its a brilliant place.
My partner was a bit aprehensive about going but when he got there he fell in love with the place we have even booked his grandparents to go, I recommend the place and the hotel.

What can I say, we discovered Icmeler 3 years ago after falling out of love with Greece and the Greeks. Icmeler has everything you could want. Not too busy but with a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Our particular favourites being the Artemis, Love Boat restaurant and the Old Famous Kitchen, where I had the pleasure of celebrating my 50th this year in the company of my family and the irrepressible Mr Toohey. I have already booked to return to Icmeler Sept 22nd, yahoo...

Icmeler great place to holiday very clean people very very friendly good places to eat.
We found the Majestic boys a fab place to eat and drink not to expensive made very welcome by everyone.
Certainly recommend Icmeler to all.

Icmeler is full of quality resaurants such as; Chef, Venice, Kontes and Coco beach. The best are found on the sea frount and you also have an amazing view.
After 10pm the night really starts with the entertainment in all the bars the best are majestic but most of all Dreamboys! The cocktails are fab and Franco is crazy doing stunts with them on his head!
Definitely worth a visit or two. We had a great time and want to return in Septemer next year

There was no resort. There was only the hotel surrounded on three sides by mountains, with the beach at the front. Marmaris is a 1&1/2hr drive away. Local village is about 1hr away. Very small, basic village, not really aimed at tourists.

Our 7th time to Icmeler. We love it and so do the kids. the canal is a lovely place to walk in the evening. The Venice Staff along with The Black Sea make us feel very welcome and it's now like home from home to us. We are returning again next year.
