Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler was described to us as a quiet resort, and I suppose compared to Marmaris it is. We found that it was possible to have a quiet or an extremely noisy time and both options are there once you get to know your way around. Food and drink are plentiful everywhere and you can have authentic Turkish food in nice surroundings or chicken and chips with dancing waiters if that's what you want. Boat trips are still excellent value with an all day cruise and swim deal for less than ten quid including lunch, but just be careful how many extras you get through. The trips are cheap but they have to make money somehow so it goes on the drinks, snacks and ice creams... not too over the top but check what you are paying to avoid a nasty surprise at the end of the day.
Icmeler beach is clean but unfortunately you can hardly see it for the sunbeds, and if you walk along the prom be ready for pestering from the sun bed sellers. This also goes for any stroll around town where it's impossible to avoid being shouted at all the time...even from the other side of the road. You do kind of get used to it after a while but I think more tourists would return if they cut out the hassle. It's a nice resort but so many people said that they didn't like this aspect of the place.
Would I go there again? The answer is probably yes because it is still possible to have a nice time despite the hassle, and it's a good base for visiting a very beautiful part of the country. Although Turkey is no longer the cheap destination it was when we went there 15 years ago the Turkish people are still genuinely friendly and it's still largely a very unspoiled country...15 minutes out of Icmeler on a dolmus and it's a different world.

We have been to icmeler several times and as for cleanliness its second to none. The choice of entertainment is fantastic and the beach is pretty good although not sand as i am not a beach lover anyway it doesnt bother me. Visiting icmeler again is a definate in fact we are moving there next year.

Resort was very clean and tidy.
The entertainment got a bit monotonous as it seemed to be the same everywhere you went and there is only so many times you can watch a Michael Jackson or Tina Turner impersonator Although watch out for the breakdancers as these are fab could watch them every night.
Lots of bars and restaurants far too many to visit in 2 weeks
The beach is nice we used to go infront of Coco beach sunbeds were about £1 each and Messi would come and serve you drinks all day.
Did get a bit crowded if you walked further along was a bit quieter.
Would definately visit this resort again had a really good holiday

our 1st visit, found it excellent, all restaurants we visited very friendly, staff very helpful, food very good.varied entertainment from local to boom-boom, all good.
all music stops at 12 midnight.resort clean&tidy always. beach very good. definetely worth a visit.5*

They try there best to keep streets clean, and empty the bins daily. just watch out for the high kerbs and uneven paths (trees growing in the middle of the pavements). beach is not white sand but are very clean and water is clear, staff on the beach also very nice.

Resort was clean and tidy Locals were friendly Apart from Hasseling from shop keepers to go in to there store
Quiter and Cleaner and newer resort than Marmaris (Need to watch out at the Market) Check the items you buy as sometimes items were "Exchanged" When handed to you

Throughly enjoyed our stay in Icmeler, didn't have a bad meal the whole fortnight. Would recommend The Love Boat, The Chef and The Titanic as our favorites. Romance Bar was good for family entertainment. You must do the Jeep safari (take the biggest water pistol you can get in your case). Trip to Turtle beach a must also.

This resort has something for everyone. I have stayed here 5 times and cant wait to go back. Its more for familys and couples but also has 2 nightclubs for the clubbers. Most people iv met there once theyve been to Icmeler come back again year after year. There is loads of pubs and restaurants with entertainment from Michael jackson to Elvis impersonators and they are really good. THe food is amazing in the majority of places i have eaten. The boat trips are really great value if you go all inclusive. Would recomend the market on Wednesdays to get a bargain on Leather goods and clothes. You have to bartar but they love this !!!

icmeler is very clean and a pleasure to walk round.the entertainment was varied and the beach was clean.
