Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is a nice enough resort with plenty bars and beach space, the people are friendly and polite plus you do not get any hasslle from them. All in all very nice.

the resort was brillant the beach was just beside the hotel. the clenliness was good are beds were changed everyday.

Liked this resort very much, beautiful setting. Beach shingly, take beach shoes. Plenty bars and resteraunts available. Music stops at 12 so no bother with noise late into night. Did not try resteraunts as we were there all inclusive, but tried a few bars found the Turkish people very friendly and were not hassled at all. When you say no, we experienced no problems, certainly no abuse as some say. Keeping in mind that some tourists very rude and quite agressive when approached. We were told to expect real hassle in Turkey by touts for bars and resteraunts, but we found this very low key, have had more hassle in Tenerife. I would visit Icmeler again.

the resort was lovely! Everywhere was very clean and tidy and the entertainment was great.
The locals were all extreamly friendly and get to know you. Captain Bullshit is deffinatly a recomended restarant visit they staff are the nicest people who i have ever met so friendly and polite (brits could learn alot from them!!!) wonderfull with childern and are so genuine and we left feeling asthough we were leaving a group of true friends behind they were that friendly Mehmet and Valken were so friendly and would play on my Brothers DS and talk about football etc with him and the level of english is amazing
we were worried about the food but there is such a ariety even for fussy eaters and everyone everywhere goes out of thir way to help you the locals are unbelievably friendly!!!
The beach was lovely and quiet at the very begining of May which i just how we like it not the best quality of sand rather rough but none the less fabulous!
in addiion to the the array of shops is ace genuine fake perfume, clothes, sunglasses, watches, jewlry everywhere you go and wonderfull little gift shops (be warned i dont think i saw one shop selling genuine designer items!)

Icmeler very clean and a new promenade makes for a lovely walk to Marmaris (albeit about 2hrs...well worth it). Plenty of entertainment to suit allsorts, music, shows, comedians and all free. The beach is a kind of shingly sand, nice as it doesn't get evrywher(if you know what I mean)plenty of beds & shades and around 10 lira for 2 for the day. First time to Turkey and would definately go back, friendliest people I have meet in a resort and NO hassle from the restaurant & bar touts just good fun and laughs and polite with it.

The resort is very clean & nice, and one thing l noticed the people are veryyyyyy friendly and do not hassel you when shopping.

Icmeler is truly a fantastic resort ideally placed amongst pine clad mountains running down to the beautiful beach and harbour.
There is so much quality of choice here and you are able to safely enjoy yourself at any time of the day or evening.
Everybody is so helpful and polite and cannot do enough to ensure you have a wonderful experience in Icmeler.
The larger resort of Marmaris is a short Dolmus or feery boat ride away if you fancy a change....however there are also a number of beautiful alternative villages to visit nearby.
The countryside is amazing and the transfer from the airport allowed us to see the beauty that is available in this region.
Icmeler is a gem of a destination.
This is my first visit to Turkey and i believe that it is a fantastic country and well worth a visit.....

ICMELER IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR FAMILIES WITH KIDS OF ALL AGES. THERE AR E PLENTY OF GOOD RESTAURANTS (LOOK OUT FOR THE LEMON TREE) IT WILL BE ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN ICMELER AND VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
