Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Cleanliness of resort was very good,the beach was also well cared for presumably by the restaurants who seem to commandeer the beach opposite.resort entertainment was centralised to the main restaurants & bars putting on their own shows mainly done by enthusiastic waiters or entertainers doing the curcuit. I can reccommend this resort and will visit again.

Icmeler is just simply the best in our opinion,this was our 5th visit and it has a good mix of lively bars or bars to chill in.The restaurants are excellent the food varied, to many to visit you get your favourites and re visit.Ours were the Love Boat, Venice, Titanic, Lighthouse and Taj Mahal.
Bars were Wonderboys, Linekers and Old Famous.
The resort is modern but a visit to the old village will take you back in time.
The beach is not golden carabien sand but is acceptable and plenty of beds and brollys.

We were pleasantly suprise at how clean the resort was as we had not been to Turkey before and didn't know what to expect, It puts the UK to shame, the streets in Icmeler were lovely ( No chewing Gum stuck to your feet) bins emptied every day,no trying to avoid dog muck it made you feel happy knowing that you could walk without stepping in something.
Loads of restaurants very wide selection, Bit dissapointed with the beach, I know its man made but the grit in h sand became quite irratating, but really who cares theres plenty of sunbeds and we all have sandals and the water is lovely.
Overal Turkey has gripped my wife and i so much so that we are going to Icmeler again,With the long term prospect of moving there, We had a wonderful time and couldn't ask anymore, If you want a perfect holiday go to Efem Apartments In Icmeler but make sure you leave a space for us. haha!! 10/10

icmeler is the baby sister of marmaris but dont let that put you off on its livelyness. it has everything marmaris has but the beauty is the music goes off at 12:00 midnight so you can sleep and so can the kiddies. it is a very clean place no litter really anywhere. the beach is man made and shingle but a boat trip to turtle beach is stunning. if your going to icmeler and are eating out then try love boat restraunt and chef restraunt they are next door to each other and both gorgeous food. its has been our fifth time in icmeler so we can safely say we would visit the resort again.

This is the 15th time we have stayed in Icmeler. We think it is the perfect location for a holiday. It is so pretty, when sitting on the beach it is like the Lakes in England (better weather though,)with the mountains all around. The beaches are always kept clean and most are free (1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds) if you just have a drink at the bar. There are so many restuarants to choose from, The Venice on the Canal and the Lighthouse in the centre are two of our favourites. Every year think we will have a change but seem to return to Icmeler.

I love this place. I am going again in September 2007. For people friendly it is great, for things to do, or not to do, its great. Restaurants are fantastic, so many to choose from and no hassle anymore! I love nightclubs and dancing so Pleasures nightclub for me was excellent, Eastenders wasn't bad. Got hassled a bit in there. Beach is a bit dull, sea made me come up in a rash so I tend to stay by the pool. I am a single girl and I feel more comfortable walking around at night in Icmeler than I do back at home.I would recommend the resort to anyone, singletons like me, families and couples alike. Club Daystar is where I am staying in Sept, I have stayed there before and would recommend it. And eat at Rainbow restaurant, fantastic!

If you want a nice meal i would go to the majestic on the canal it is loverly and the staff are brilliant with the kids they even keep them entertained while you eat your meal, drinks cheap but nice and the entertainment was a laugh. The beach is nice all the staff there are loverly too. water great.

I have been to Icmeler 4 times and found this resort to be far superior to any other I have stayed at in Turkey. There are excellent bars and restaurants with superb entertainment.
I would recommend the Elif Restaurant for a great night the staff were friendly helpful and the food very good.
There turkish night is on a wednesday and should not be missed it is very good value and good fun you will be entertained all evening.
The manager and owner Ilyas is the nicest most genuine person you could meet and is so very helpful and really wishjes to please and make sure his guest have a good time, as with al his staff.

Icmeler has something for everyone but if that's not enough your only a short dolmus (bus) ride away from Marmaris.
