Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

it used to be pretty laid back unfortunatly it would appear that the disco musicand binge drinking is now more important than the genuine mature traveller.

we came in a group of 37 (the barmey army) we all loved every thing about it.resort/entertainment were greattttttt we dont do beaches so dont know what it looks like.and yes we'll be back

We have stayed in Icmeler 5 times and would not go anywhere else. We went to Altinkum in 2006 but did not like it we missed Icmeler so much that we came home and booked to go.
So we will not try anywhere else we have made some good friends so we go back to see them as well as have our holiday.
You will not meet friendlier people they can't do enough for you, if you want somthing and they don't have it they send out for it I would recommend Icmeler to anyone.
In fact we have to my mum and dad who always swore by Spain but have been to Icmeler twice in the last 3 years. Also 2 of my brothers.
So we will not try anywhere else we have made some good friends so we go back to see them as well as have our holiday.

Beaches were very busy and it was often difficult to get a sunbed. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from, fell in love with the animals at The Waterfront restaurant.

the resort was amazing but it was hard to clean the sand out of the nether regions. A cool sea breeze helps with over-heating. A must for all you Shirley Valentines!!

There is so much to do in Icmeler most of the restaurants turn into clubs with the staff dancing with the customers from 10pm onwards but the music is turned right down at midnight, as they are all close to the hotels.
Please call into the Irish Bar and say hello to the lads there. If you can get there on one of the nights they do the full monty, good laugh and the lads never stop all night, making sure you are well looked after.
Beach is spotless and plenty of sunbeds. Would love to go back next year

try eating at the Waterfall,if only for the setting it also has a small area with guinea pigs and ducklings,another place to try is Titanic.
We were only told by a local that Turunc has a better beach for snorkelling on our last day so this is unconfirmed.
If you visit the mud baths at Dalyan step in carefully as there are stones on the bottom and the side walls are rough the mud is about 400cm deep,still a fun day out twinned with turtle beach.

Icelemer is a lovely place to stay, plenty of fun pubs with free entertainment. Think I prefer staying here to Marmaris which is a lot busier and quite Blackpool like. Make sure you go for a walk along the canal which is lovely and quite unexpected with restaurants and bars on each side as well as some market stalls. Turkish people are so friendly and will do anything to secure a sale. If you like jewellery take your credit card or extra cash, because the gold is 14ct and lovely, it is advised to get it valued back home and you should be pleasantly surprised. Lots of Jewellers shops in Icelemer and they all make you feel extremely welcome. Would certainly recommed Iclemer to friends and family as a lovely resort.

very beautiful bay, beach very clean and beds spaced out well. loveley flat easy walking,could walk all the way into marmaris if you wanted. stunning scenery. some parts a littley roudy in the evenings, but easy to avoid if you dont want any of that. can get pestered to eat, but just say no thanks. i found no offence taken and overall people very nice.something for all ages.
