Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

the resort is a lovely place with plenty of restaurants to eat in and be entertained till midnight when all music is turned right down or completely off. The beach at icmeler is not on of the best beaches in turkey as the sand is rather shingly and the sand very dark, looks like mud.

Icmeler pronounced Ishmeler has a lot going for it, not a huge place, in the day its pleasant to walk around, not to many shops but plenty of bars and varied restaurants some with very good entertainment at night, just about all of them produce quality meals, with the price ranging from £7.00 to £9.00 for the main course, expect to be hassled to go in to every restaurant you pass however excepting there card or advert with a smile works fine, if you plan to go into a restaurant wait for them to hassle you then do a deal for free drinks, a bottle of wine or coffee, it usually works, Mario's Italian Restaurant was the most expensive visited and to be honest the food was not that great, the entertainment consisted of watching the staff jump on there scooter every five minutes presumably to get more supplies when they ran out, every coarse came out wrong and had to be changed, a disaster really however you could see the English manageress was trying hard to please, market day is Wednesday its worth a visit but ensure you offer 50% less than what ever price they tell you amazingly 8/10 times I did this and walked away pretending I was not interested they agreed my offer, transport is very easy internally in Icmeler and further a field to the larger resort of Marmaris by boat or local bus, one word of caution Dalaman airport is 2 hours from Icmeler and the roads are a bit rough you certainly know you have made that journey.

icmeler is a warm friendly clean place.it is realatively hassle free it is only about 6kms from marmaris it is ideal for older couples or families with children.because it is not as hectic as marmaris.we will definatly return to icmeler.

resort was spotless no rubbish left around weekly mosquito man comes round and sprays the area beach was ok though could of been a little better entertainment in the different bars was good though we did find the male belly dancer a little strange

The resort of Icmeler seems to have lost all of its Turkish tradition and culture. I could not find an authentic Turkish restaurant.
The nightly entertainment was mainly loud pop music.
The condition of the footpaths was generally appalling with broken footpath everwhere.
The beach was lined with sunbeds packed together very closely.

Icmeler is very nice and uniqe place. It has very nice beach. It is not very crowed.

Icmeler is the best resort we have ever been to, its absolutly beautiful. Its spotlessly clean and the people are lovely. The only downside is the hassle but the police are trying to stop this and will shut down restaurants for 3 days if they see this happenning. There is plenty of enertainment, all the loud music stops at 12 midnight, but the bars are still open. Most of the enertainment is put on by the staff who are very fantastic. All the Turkish people are friendly and cant do enough for you. The food in the resort is fabulous the choice is outstanding. The beach is lovely and spotless.

Icmeler a great resort but getting expensive on the drinks and restaurant staff can be over bearing with the eat here tactics.

We have been visiting Icmeler for 8 years x2 per year.We always feel at home in Icmeler.The police are cracking down on hassling,so it was much better this year.
