Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is a lovely resort great for families. The entertainment in the different bars etc is superb.

Icmeler is a wonderful place, with an abundance of fantastic restaurants and bars. The beach is beautiful and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking.
Great holiday made by the people you meet as usual. Try the Venice bar and restaurant for fantastic food and entertainment...great night out! The chinese round the corner from H & B is a cheap all you can eat for a fiver; delicious too!
WOULD GO BACK TO ICMELER; would recommend self catering...bigger rooms and fridges. Stay away deom AI, anyone we spoke to hated it and ate out most nights!

If you want a small resort and an easy holiday go to Icmeler, if your after big and loud Marmasis. The beach is man made as this town has only become popular in the last few years but it's clean and tidy.There are loads of bars and restrarants, both on the way towards the beach and the area called little venice and behind the hotel towards the main street. The music in the bars has to go quiter after midnite as apartments are all round, of a weekend some are on till 1am. But like on holiday the bars and restrauants we went to did'nt seem the shut till the last person left. As a previous review wrote, all inclusive is killing the resort so food is cheap and good value all round.Shops sell eveything fake, don't buy perfume or aftershave, but everything else is pretty good, although fake. remember to haggle, it's all part of the game. A pint costs about a quid to one fifty and lots of bars do a five course meal for a tenner. Boat trips are a must, to travel round and see the islands, we went on one from Goldtrail, which was good although the boat was quite full, but down on the beach there are loads ( cheeky bugger was recommended)turkey bath was a good laugh and you feel great afterwards. Talk of the town nite out is also good, chicken and chips, 1 free beer and 3 blokes as women. I would go back to Turkey as we had a good relaxing time, but a holiday is what you make of it. It is 4hrs flight and 2 hrs on coach transfer with a stop half way and you can buy water on the coaches. just remember the sun is hot and it was 40 - 45 degrees every day.

Beach is gravel so not very foot friendly but I can honestly say this resort is like little venice a beautiful place to visit, with enough nitelife to entertain anyone but if you want to go wild only 10mins from marmaris but certainly enough nitelife for the average person.

Icmeler is a fantastic place to stay, lots of restaurants to choose from. Our favourites were Zafer Cafe-pancake house-savoury and sweet - yummy!!! Titanic-see Oscar for evening meal recommendations, breakfast there was excellent as well...Captain Bulls**ts-great food, fab boat trips. Beaches crammed with sunbeds, couldn't take football etc so didn't stay down there. Clothes/bags etc very cheap we will be taking much less with us next year! Market was an experience - be prepared to haggle - they are - all good fun though.

Icmeler is a beautiful resort. Not to lively but then again not to quiet. Everything you need for a lovely holiday.

we love this resort it is not too noisy the restaurants are all very good I do not think we have had a bad meal there. a lovely clean beach. plenty of shops and a big market twice a week. people very friendly and helpful.

icmeler is lovely .alot quieter than marmaris but still got everything marmaris as to offer but on a smaller scale.excellent restaraunts ,lots of shops and of course the wedensday market.the beach isnt up to much if youve got small children but excellent for sunbathing.this resort is very clean and its been our 4th visit this year with 1 more hol due in october

i would reccomend icmeler to anyone!!! it has the most beautiful scenerey i have ever saw!!! the people are amazing and would do anything for you..my family and i go every year and we feel it caters for every age from toddlers to pensioners... i feel it is my second home... it so very very clean, the entertainmaent is vairied where ever you go and is always excellent. when going to the beach you can lie on your sunbed and still be catered for at any time,the beach staff are so friendly and love to have a laugh with you. but if you want some quite time to relax or sleep they will leave you too it! there is 2 nightclubs in icmeler which are both superb and you will find people aging from 18 to 80 in them. but if you fancy more varity with your nightlife marmaris is a 10 minute dolmush of a 5 minute taxi boat which are both very cheap. i have been visiting icmeler for 10 years and mw and my family go about 3to4 times per year and i will be until always will be..

the resort is beautiful in itself,with lots of facilities which suit a variety of peoples needs.there are quiet areas and more livley parts,pleny of things to do and places to vist,a fab beach and grat people
