Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

they love Icmeler and have been a few times, always friendly and now there has been a cut down on Hassleing it is much better, guaranteen sunshine and fun

Icemeler is one of the most beautiful places you could imagine. It has a lovely seafront set in a cove and the hotels and apartments are all within walking distance of the beach and the centre of the resort. Icemeler has a lot more entertainment in the bars and restaurants than last year (2006) the entertainment is vastly improved with almost every bar having Turkish Nights, Karaokes, Sound-a-likes etc. so you have choices. To eat out the food is fabulous and moderately cheaper than back home.
The resort is very clean and the people are very friendly, many of the shops sell designer clothes and jewellery at very reasonable prices and it is a shoppers paradise.
Due to the No Hassle legislation of the area shop keepers are not now allowed to use pressure sales tactics and this means that if you dont want to buy they must respect that, this has improved things.
On the whole Icemeler is a beautiful, clean and friendly place to go on holiday, places to go, things to do and not as noisy as the larger resort of Marmaris. You make your own holiday and Icemeler is perfect for this.

Icmeler is lovely and is clean enough. There is entertainment everywere u go so not hard to find a good place for a bit of fun. I dont really like the beach in icmeler as it was very stony n sore to walk on. Im not a beach lover anyway so didnt bother me much because im never really at the beach. Yes i would go back to icmeler.

There were plenty of surrounding bars for having other company drinks entertainment etc. you just needed to walk out of the door and their was a bar which was very nice called friends bar this was also a nice place.
We had no complaints in any area. The trips which were offered via goldtrail were so cheap and so good. We booked 4 and then got a free boat trip thrown in...a must is talk of the town..drag show which is so so funny.

Icmeler Turkey,Was fantastic for us we enjoyed the clean beaches, friendly people, lovely food & beer(effs) Would recommend this to any families Travelling to Turkey.

if your single or under 20 and dont wish to sleep go ahead you will love it , blackpool with hundreds of night clubs, most under hotels so ur unable to sleep. nighmare is all i can say

We were situated in the back region of icmeler it was quiter than around the main streets although even in the main streets it was not over crowded. We had a walk of about seven minutes until we reach the main streets with only a handful of small family shops/bars along the way which was peaceful, but when you reach the main streets it changes to shops galore and pub after pub. Nearly all the pubs put on there own entertainment(dancers/singers)and they are all very friendly. Its little annoying to start with as they stop you to chat or give you there card as they want you to eat and drink in their bar but they do offer you free taxis home if you live a good walk away.
The beach was twenty minutes walk including some stops
its a lovely view looking back at all the mountains but i personally didn't like the beach it was more shingle than sand and very hot to walk on (very small shingle not like brighton beach) there was plenty of sunbeds and a nice sea breeze. we will be returning next year as we loved it.

EATING OUT
Most of the eating places in canal street are good my favourite being the Venice meal for four adults being around 100 ytl
Most eating places will give a free lift back to your hotel at anytime so enjoy a meal take in a few bar then head back to them for a lift home great !

Sun beds 2ylt all day no hassle
TRIPS
Did q/bikes with my son waste of time got picked up at 16.30 went round the world picking up Then got on bikes for an hour which all had no brakes not safe got home at 22.00 will book with my travel next time not on street corner
SHOPS
Lot of good shops there is covered market next to the main bank

I liked icmeler, it was not too lively and all of the staff in the bars and restaurants were all friendly and nice. The meals we ate were all really nice and reasonably priced.
The beach was nice. I would visit the resort again, but not that hotel.

The hotel where we stayed was in a great location for bars and shops and resturants. Visit Champagne bar, (ask farat in the hotel hell sort you out with a discount) The holiday resturant and Titanic. the beach is lovelly, go to the places where the sunbeds are free or if you end up where you have to pay just give them 5 turkish liras, dont ask them how much because they will have you off!Hehe.
Hope you have as much fun in Icmeler as we did, Happy Holidays, and dont worry about the hotel its fine as long as your not expecting the ritz x
