Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort is very lively. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Lots of activities available on the beach.

It is a peaceful and attractive environment. Great for families. Many restaraunts and bars to visit. Quiet. Short bus ride into the centre of Marmaris if you want a more livlier scenery.

i LOVE icmeler, i have been many many times and i am going again this year, (for my 21st birthday in july).
The poeple are so friendly an within the first few days all the bar staff know you and remember your name.
there are lots of lovely restaurant's and tons of entertainment every day of the week.
If there is a football game you want to watch you will be able to watch it in one of the many bars that play sports!
The canal has bars either side which are also restaurants, plenty of entertainment that suits everyone.
The beach is nice although i never went last year as i was too busy sleeping my hangover away beside the pool, i went the year before and before that and i had nothin bad to say about it.
one of the main things i love about icmeler is that its smaller than marmaris so everything is in reach, and you dont have to get taxi's back to your room, and i always feel safe going back to our apartments with just one friend or even on my own because after afew days you know your way around very well and usually know everyone who works there!

Loved Icmeler, it was always clean, never a spec of rubbish on the floors.
entertainment is in abundance if you want it and plenty of quiet restaurants and bars when you dont want too much noise.
the beach is narrow and you usually have to pay for a bed at different prices depending where you are on the beach.

Icmeler is very clean, i dont ever recall seeing litter anywhere, the people could not be any nicer, sweeter, or more helpful.
There are lots of bars for good nightlife, lots of quiet areas for quieter nights and even lots of very romantic and quiet restaurants.
Entertainment varies from the famous stella show, breakdancers who travel all apartments and bars, belly dancers, traditional turkish dances, fire shows... there is alot of different entertainment for everyone.
i have been to turkey many many times and been to most resorts but icmeler has to be my favourite this will be my 4th time there this summer.

icmeler is really clean with a good choice of bars and restaurants. we visited the neighbouring resort of turunc which is really quiet bu is really lovely. We will definately be visiting this resort again in july 08.

I love Icmeler and would recommend it to anyone. Families, couples, 18-30s, elder couples.
