Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort was great, once you got used to the friendly hasselling from all the bars and restuarants and shops, you will be thoughly entertained, these people work such long hours and they never let tirdness get to them, I dont know how they do it. An extremly friendly resort

This was my second visit to this resort and i would definatley go back, as my family will be doing every year.
The entertainment around the resort can get abit repetitive with Micheal Jackson, Turkish night, Tina Turner Break dancers etc but all the staff at the bars are very friendly. We met alot of friends at the bars especially at elif, dream boys, amor and amalia.
The beach is abit of a let sow for his resort, its pebbly and not really sand. Although the sea is nice and clear to swim in.
I would recommend this resort to any age and it is certainly the best i have visited and i have been to quite a few places.

Fantastic resort, all anyone requires, good beach, good food and entertainment at night, friendly locals.
Recommend the following restaurants, Florida, Dreamboys, Venice, and the Karem (authentic turkish) all situated on the canal .Did not experience a bad meal in all 2 weeks stay.
Recommend the Aegean boat trip and the jeep safari, what a laugh but expect to get wet, expect to get very wet,(tip..purchase your water guns before the trip as cheaper in resort and more fun with one )

Icmeler is an absolutely beautiful place with lots of places to visit and all of the restaraunts offer great value for money on their meals!
The beaches are a bit of a let down but once you get past them and into the sea it is warm, clear and lovely to swim in!!

charlies place is excellent(near tansas supermarket) also sylvias place does good food and loads of it,there is something for everyone here and the beach is good.
a lot less hassle than before from shops etc go and see charlie he can sort anything out for you.

The resort is beautiful and we will be visiting again. Ideal with young children as there is a midnight music ban. For the more livley holiday makers Marmaris is just a 5 minuet drive away. The resort is very clean and beach is lovely. I was a bit unsure when I booked this holiday with taken my 2 year old daughter, but really glad I did as the restort and people made us feel really safe and welcome.

This was our 3rd visit to Turkey and the resort of Icmeler. Every where was clean and fresh, the resort its self is nice and relaxed it has many bars and restraunts which serve until about 10pm then they put on entertainment or a show. Food is of a very good standard two of our favourite restraunts were Little Venice and Majestic both down by the canal. The beach has a long promenade and many beach front hotels, restraunts and cafes. You can catch a taxi boat to Marmarise or Turunc, book a boat or fishing trip or laze about on the beach.

The resort of Icmeler i found to be really good, people very friendly but you still get a bit hassle,it's not too bad though but the people i found to be giving the most hassle were the Hairdressers and there's loads of them.
A lot of the big restaurants have nightly dance shows by the bar staff,or the have Michael Jackson dancers in or belly dancers and the music was very repetative, it sounded like they all played the same cd and it's all old music like Cha Cha slide, Cotton Eye Joe,Macarena etc
Plenty places to eat and drink,food is quite reasonable but we found we were paying the same for a large soft drink as we were for a vodka. Its certainly not as cheap as it used to be.
Special mention to the Havana Bar right over from the Hotel it was good to go in there at night and not have to listen to the same music that was boooming round the resort and the owner Za za and his team will look out for you and make you feel very welcome.
Paid £18 for an all inclusive boat trip, slightly more expensive that what you pay the sellers at the beach but it was guaranteed to only take 26 people which was good as some of the boats leaving from the beach were crammed full like sardines.
Lots of things to do in and around Icmeler,something for everyone. Will definately go back.

icmeler is very clean, the beach is great lovely views. there are lots of little eating, drinking places.there is no preassure to use these. prices very cheap.there are many shops, jewellery, leather, shoes, clothes all good prices. the iclemer market is a must on wednesdays. i definately will visit again hope to next year.
