Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

I really enjoyed are stay there, the staff are friendly and even though they didn't have much entertainment there was two great slides. I didn't really think they need any because I liked it quiet. We went on the boat trip twice because we enjoyed it so much thanks to Ebo the captin, faro and memmet. One day I twisted my ancle and Kerim helped me. Thank you to all the staff who kept the hotel clean and friendly.

Icmeler is a lovely resort. The hotel was exceptionally good. Everyone we met was very friendly and kind. The entertainment was good. I would definately visit Icmeler again, aswell as the aquarium apartments. Really enjoyed our time there.

It had really nice shops and pubs I would reccomend the Pig And Whistle pub with friendly staff who taught us Turkish the only thing Ididn't like was the pubs near are hotel constently begged you to come in and it is so annoying but that is it the rest was nice and if you want to taste the best food ever go to The Water Fall restaurant that had really nice food.

Resort was clean in its self , beaches were cleaned up well it was holiday makers that left beach untidy. Entertainment in resort was better than hotel. Market was ok, apart from the local women trying to sell jewellery .Marmaris was worth a visit using the boat and local bus.Quite a bit of hassle though just walking down street with people trying to get you in to buy.

The resort was quite clean, the bin men came and cleared the rubbish daily.
Sea weed was gathered daily by the waters edge and parts of the beach were combed and cleaned. The crazy paved path was constantly being hosed down by waiters etc.
The beach was OK but made up of grit not sand and it really did get everywhere! There were many cigarette ends on the beach at the end of the day, but the tourists are to blame for this not the Turkish people.
We felt that the "hassle" factor had lessened this year, we certainly felt less pressured to go into bars than last year, this made for a very pleasant stroll every night. All in all Icmeler is a resort I think we will be going back to time and time again.

We stayed in the old part of the town.
Good restaurants ten mins walk away.
Recommend Ozzys, Meyzan, Green Garden for good food and excellent service.

The resort was very clean.Entertainment was excellent with a wide range to suit all age groups.Beach was made up of sand and shingle and was marked out where you could swim because of water sports and boats.This is a lively resort and everything is in walking distance oh the hotel.

Icmeler was thankfully quieter than Marmaris, but still wall to wall 'British' bars serving 'English Breakfast' and showing football every night. In fact it became quite a challenge to find alternative venues for meals as most restaurants offered 'Break Dancers', Michael Jackson impersonators and belly dancers every night!! If you enjoy being surrounded by Brits in fake football shirts and require HP sauce on everything this is the place for you. The resort was always clean. We found the beaches around the all-inclusive hotels of a good standard. I should point out that the locals outside the apartments were always extremely friendly, polite and helpful, but personally we plan not to return to this part of Turkey. Turunc on the other hand looked peaceful and far more restful.
