Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Beautiful resort, no hard hassle which is illegal now, the restaurants were all clean and well presented, the beach is well set out with chairs/umbrellas £2.00 a day.
I did feel the beach drink prices were quite expensive you are better taking a cool bag and using the nearby supermarket.
All in all its a very pretty resort, very friendly people, and I would recommend it 100%.

icmeler has a abundance of good restaurants and I recommend, Selams, Moonlight, Mandalin, Lemon Tree, these are worth finding. Look for the Tansa supermarket on the main road, and Selams,and Moonlight are a street further on down towards the cannal,the Lemon Tree is in the next street,and the mandalin is in the middle of Icmeler.
A visit to Turunc makes a interesting excursion, take your sunbathing gear and spend the day there ,you can take a water taxi or if you want a change try the dolmus over the mountain( very interesting).
You can take a dolmus into Mamaris if you want or you can walk along the shore ,this takes about one hour but icmeler is definetly the best .

Icmeler is becoming like a second home, as soon as we arrive I feel at ease. The people are so welcoming, friendly and helpful.
There are so many bars and restaurants you would need to be there for quite some time to get through them all. And depending on what type of entertainment you like (or none if you prefer a good chat) you are sure to find the perfect place in the resort to suit yourself). We had great nights in Vince's, Irish bar, Pop In, harmony (Stella Show great night), Majestic Boys and Florida.
The beach is not quite sandy but is lovely and in the evening its lovely to stroll along the beach front looking over to the twinkling lights of Marmaris.
So again I would recommend Icmeler to people, infact my friends tried it this year and are definately going to visit again.

Icemeler is a very clean resort, the beach is spot on and there is plenty to see and do. the wednesday market is very good for bargins but can get very hot.
We have stayed in Marmeris before but much prefer Icemeler as it is not so commmercialised. We have been going to Turkey since 2004 and have fallen in love with Icemeler, the scenery is excellent and you can have as much peace as you wish or let your hair down when the mood takes you highly recommended.

I love Icmeler and have been on numerous occasions.
There was a little bit more hassle than normal this year as the resort is very quiet.
We found a great new cafe, called Karma Cafe which is down the side street at the Baron. English Family who were very accommodating and sold real tea and toasties. The Anatolyian on the corner is also great and Eddie will look after you.

Icmeler is fab...bars are excellent all with great entertainment every night...especially the harmony bar ...great was in stiches evry time i went to see the show ...going back in august cant wait!!

Icmeler is very nice place to stay. It is very clean. The beach is perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun. There are some trip avaliable if you want to see other local towns.

Icmeler itself is quieter than Marmaris, with all the bars and restaurants turning off the music at midnight, though most will carry on serving until you decide to leave. Go to the market for some extremely cheap goods.

Brilliant a bit daunting at first with all the attention we recieved but you have to see it for what it is fun.
All the bars and restaurants do there own entertainment the beach is clean the shops are numerous and really cheap most things three for a tenner.
Of course they all want your bussiness dont forget they have to make a years money in six months.
But its the friendliest most fun place you could go.

The beach in the resort is clean and the water is nice to swim in, sunbeds are available and looked after by freindly staff. Shopping is a must you will find many bargains and cheerful shop assistants willing to help YOU. Food is of a high standard and i always eat as the locals eat and have found the food to be very good and service excellent.
