Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

The resort is very clean which can't be easy to maintain with the number of people that use it.
The entertainment is very good with more than enough for all ages.
I found the beach a little hectic and went further a field for our relaxation. But if you like the water sports etc I am sure you would love it,

icmeler is a lovely place. i would recommend it to anybody
we have been visiting icmeler for 8 years now and we will continue to re-visit in the future.
icmeler is like a home from home. all the people are friendly and always willing to help.
the entertainment in icmeler is very good there is always something going on every night.
we will definatley be coming back to icmeler next year.

Icmeler its self is a really nice place with more than enough bars and restraunts to choose from, the bar and restraunt staff do hassle quite a bit but we just told them we had eaten and walked on, they tend to leave you alone till the next night! The beach was not the best and the sea was not the usual deep blue sea it was more a dirty muggie colour, but there was plenty of sunbeds and the guys looking after them were really friendly about 21/2Lira for the use all day.

Our experience with the apartments is a small example of how Icmeler has changed. In the evenings you can be having a meal in a quiet restaurant when the music from a bar two hundred yards away suddenly drowns out all conversation and the restaurant's own quiet music.
We have known Icmeler for several years, but now the noise in the evenings and night from the bars and the behaviour of bar staff and drunken holiday-makers means we will never return.

The general clenliness is very good. There is plenty of entertainment to suit everbody.The beaches are very clean and are raked ever morning.The resturants are plentyful and all offer good value for money, and good food.

Beautiful place - very flat and easy to get around. Market day is Wednesday in Icemeler (the reps don't tell you that as they want to sell you tickets to the Marmaris market!). The market was fabulous - really cheap and enjoyable. The beach was very sheltered by the mountains so the water was very calm which is great for less confident swimmers and children/families. Definitely go back to Icemeler.

This was my second visit to Icmeler in 4 years and now I know why I returned it is a fantastic resort just the right size and easy to get around in the resort. The Mitos were based at the canal which is really central and therefore the furthest we walked to go a wandering was maybe about 15mins. The restaurants we visited were of a high standard as were the bars. In most of the bars and restaurants after meal time approximately 9.30ish in the evening there would be some sort of entertainment, which also normally included some dancing.
We only visited the beach once as we enjoy lying by the pool. However the beach is tidy and is raked every day, it is a shingly beach not sandy but it is a nice beach.
A quick note just to say that in this resort the music is switched off in the bars at midnight, which ended up a godsend as we were next to a few where we were situated so if you had decided on that odd occasion for an early night it was good to know that as of midnight you could do so. However this does not mean that bars all close they don't you can continue to drink there with the music either off or down really low. There are also a couple of clubs there if this is what you are looking for, all in all a fantastic resort!!!

I am especially taken with the restaurants and the food available which is really of a very high standard generally. The Waterfall is a lovely Turkish place that caters for Brit tastes as well, but primarily Turkish food. Another restaurant called The Chef is outstanding and you can be sure that Elvis is still alive and working there. Next door is the Love Boat which is pretty up market and extremely good. Apart from these go down to the canal and enjoy more of a fun time if that is your thing. The food is still very good there. But also try the old village. There is a nice wee place owned by an English lady who has kept her place very ethnic and local. You have to visit The Miami at the entrance to the old village too and meet a die hard Jambo (Hearts of Midlothian supporter). The kids will enjoy meeting Ali Baba the camel.

What more can you say about icmeler once you go there you just keep on going back.We have been 5 times now and will keep going back time and time again.It is a very clean resort with a nice beach area it is simply magical at night,with the many trees lit up with fairy lights,and the stalls all lit up by the canal ,and a must in the evening is to go to the cafe del mar for a drink it is on the prom between marmaris and icmeler its nice by day also just to sit have a drink and watch the world go by,truly magical.

Icmeler, plenty of bars & restaraunts but if you want night clubs etc. Marmaris is only 10 mins away. Icmeler is a quiet peaceful resort. We have been going there for the last 9 years & we will keep on returning.we love the people, country & the way of life there.
