Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Attic rooms may be too hot in the height of summer

Well situated for restaurants and local shops and hairdressers.

We have been to Icmeler 6 times and love the resort,which is why we keep going back.
The resort is clean and the restaurants give good value and service.
Entertainment is there if you want it.
The beach is very good.
Only downside which is all over Turkey is the continuous pressure to buy which can be a bit off putting.

Unlike its neighbour Mamaris - Icmeler is very clean and picturesque.
Many bars put on their own entertainment, which is music/dancing based - very good - note though that at the stroke of midnight, all music has to be turned right down - this is the law and they are very strict on it which basically means come midnight the resort starts to empty and people drift back to their local bars/hotel.
Whilst the beach is still nice, it has gone downhill - 3 years ago the sea was crystal clear blue, not its more murkey and there was litter on the sea bed - this is the only thing i was disappointed with - but we had great pool so didn't mind.

Icmeler is as popular as ever, it's a shame that the old train doesn't run any more but thats a small complaint.
Didn't go to the beach this year so can't really comment but it looked good.
Hassle was about the norm, one or two who were a bit heavy but nothing too worry about.
Restaurants
Ozzy's in the old village excellent, especially the Fahita's and English Breakfast, Ate thrice
Captain BullShits as good as ever, ate twice here.
Dreamboys, Fishplank to die for (Well the fish did) How the guy balances drinks on his head while climbing trees is a scientific mystery.
Venitian, Not as good this year.
Titanic, Never again. The toilets are nice though.
Pyramid, Didn't feed me, the other 6 were fed, finally complained and recieved my meal within minutes, but it had been standing for sometime, didn't pay for it, I refused to accept it as everyone else had nearly finished.
Deniz Kapisi, For a pizza they are as good as ever.
Three Bells (Four Bells) Sunday dinner as good as mums, Yorkshire puddings were excellent, ate twice here.
Trips
Cleopatra Island was a nice day out, the beach and sand was beautiful, our 13 year old was sold a half price trip (She was visible at the time of sale), unfortunately they did not give her a ticket as we left the boat to go on the island which caused her much embarisment as she was refused entry, I ended up paying 10TL for her to enter the Island, it would have been nice for the boat crew to inform us first that there was a problem, I would have happily paid the 5TL ticket price from the boat if I had known, but as our 10 year old was not given a ticket either I didn't realise there was a problem until we got to the gate on the Island.
5 Bay Boat trip, fantasic trip as always, first time I have seen food ferried between boats via crocodile (Inflatable).
Jeep Safari, what can I say, this was the best ever. Four jeeps with only one serious boring crowd in one jeep, all the rest were up for fun and wet soakings. Fantastic, brilliant and all the rest of the the good words I can't think of at present. The Blue fish were more spectacular this year.
In the end can't wait until return.

great resort.quieter than marmaris but only a short ride away.try friends resturaunt+bar,good food+great fun entertainment.good boat trips from beach front.will most certainly be going back

Icmeler as a resort can be quite strange, entertainment value was very good, you can people watch for hours, visit the three bells (dreams) bar/restaurant and watch the entertainment after 10pm where you see staff climbing trees with drinks on there head and doing a variety of things to keep you happy. Food though do not eat here ...we recommend the titanic restaurant where the food and hospitality is excellent and reasonably priced.

The resort we stayed in was Icmeler, was great, great beach location, and clean everywhere, you, or I never seen litter on the streets.
The Restaurant Staff were always brushing outside their aera, a top spot for the hundrends of bars and restaurant's around, never short of somewhere to eat or drink.
Entertainment at night was great, even though it's only for 2 hours beacause of the Law, but all in all good. I found the hasstle from staff to get you in their bars a bit annoying at times, but they are only doing their jobs, A polite no thank you stopped them, all in all a great place to stay, eat, drink and entertainment all around.
I have booked already for next year, it was a bit quiet becasue of the Bomb Threats, seemed busy, but hopefully next year would be much better and busy, I can't wait to go again September 07!!!!!!!!

The resort was in a good location, with lots to do places to go eat out and that, the day time was quite and not as busy as it was last year, maybe because of the Bomb Scare, but busy enough. The beaches spotless, and plenty of bars to choose from out there, of a night the place really comes alive, the Music could be a bit earlier, by Law only from 10pm - 00:00, but didn't spoil matters at all. Lots of Boat trips, for days out was good, the the views great, all in all I would say it a great resort to see and stay, I will and am coming back next year. I would advise people to come and say here.

The beach and sea were kept clean and sunbeds are available at a fee of £2.50 each per day or free to certain hotels.
Lively resort, which was bigger than we expected, with loads of shops and restaurants. Recommend Kingsland restaurant.
Trips can be booked in the resort at about half the price the reps sell them for.

This was our second time in Icemeler, well recommended. Plenty of entertainement, good bars and resteraunts.

Good for families and couples very relaxed and quiet.
