Anemon Hotel in Marmaris has a fantastic central location for those interested in the local sites, being situated close to the Marmaris Museum and Marmaris Castle. All rooms have a balcony, Satelite TV, minibar, hair dryer and are air conditioned.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff were pleasant, although their english was quite limited. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and sheets (the maids did a different design with the sheets every day!). The hotel was spotlessly clean at all times. The entertainment only consisted of a Turkish night every Thursday, although there were lots of activities to do in the hotel itself i.e. turkish bath, fitness centre, massage etc.

The food was excellent. We did not make breakfast for much of our stay due to the fact that we stayed out late at night but the evening meals were of outstanding quality. The menu was varied, with something different to choose from every evening, the only drawback was the meal time was between 8.00p.m. and 10.00p.m.

This hotel is suitably located for the beach (about a 2 minute walk), although we found that we had to get a taxi in the night if we wanted to go to the infamous Bar Street as it was quite a trek!!

Overall this is an outstanding hotel and I would not hesitate to go there again.
