We ate in the restaurant a few evenings and the food was lovely so were the snacks around the pool bar I can highly recommend the Hawaiin pizza!
Staff were absolutely fantastic around the pool bar and restaurant they couldn't do enough for you, I can't really comment on hotel check in staff because the only time we needed them was to check in and out on arrival and departure.

Staff were constantly either trying to sell something, taking unwanted photos of people at the pool, sleazing over the females, trying to show off by doing press ups on the tables, skipping by the pool etc... we went to relax and lie by the pool but could not do this as the staff were at us every 5 minutes selling drinks, tickets for turkish night or food or just generally pestering us giving no peace at all.
Staff referred to me as "Jimmy" all week and I found this really offensive and bordering on racist. On one occasion a member of staff approached my partner whilst she was lying by pool and began looking her up and down. I threw my towel over her and to my amazement, he pulled it off again then walked away calling us rude.
The gold-trail rep was only concerned about his tan and hair highlights and commented to staff that he sunbathes at the quieter pool so he doesn't get hassle from the customers.
We did not eat at all at the hotel as the hard sale only pushed us away. We were uncomfortable leaving the hotel to go find a restaurant to eat at as every time we left, staff asked us "where are you going" in a manner suggesting we should be staying within the complex.
The entertainment was dire to say the least and when 2 of the staff decided to hold live fireworks and fire them across the pool at guests whilst there were kids there was complete lunacy and wholly irresponsible.
Staff would stand at the pool and ogle the females and never seemed to leave them alone. Marmaris in general was a nightmare, the weather was good but you cant walk anywhere without constant hassle from shops and restaurants doing the hard sale bit.
I have never been so glad to see our transfer coach pull up to take us back to the airport. Would not touch this place with a barge pole ever again. Its a disgrace!

We only had one meal in the dining room/bar area, which was an English breakfast. This was average, though we were told by some of the other guests who ate there most days that the food was good.
The hotel was situated near to the minibus routes. These buses ran every 5 to 10 minutes and only cost 1 lira to travel to the end of the line. The number 3 bus dropped us off near the beach front and the number 2 bus took us to the port and the shops. It is quite a hike if you decide to walk. We did it one day, but decided to take the buses from then on.
The hotel staff could not do enough for us. Anne was ill one day and they sent up mint tea for her to help her. It worked too!
It was fun sat in the bar lounge on an evening. There was music or television and the guys would dance or talk to keep us amused. There was also music and a bar round the pool. Lots of sunbeds.
I will definitely visit this hotel again.

A few days before we were due to travel there was a review on another site which pointed out that most of the previous reviews were from young girls, and while that seemed to be true I thought his other comments were harsh.
We arrived in marmaris on Friday 6th October at 5am following a very fast flight form Teesside with Onur Air, we were the hotel from the outside looked smart, larger than I expected and as glanced over in other reviews there is two sides to the apartments.
The rep called our our family name and told us which site we were staying in, and we heard a cheer from another family, when they were told that they were also staying at the same side, so we assumed this must be the "best" side.
We were greeted by a half-asleep hotel reception, given our room key and shoved into an elevator, we arrived on the 4th floor where our rooms were located to find no lights, there was no light at all apart from the glow of the elevator we had to walk half way along a hallway before the automatic lights activated.
The next thing that shocked us that EVERY door has been forced/broken open at some point, perhaps from break ins? Who knows but instantly after seeing that our confidence and hopes were broken along with the doors.
We booked two apartments, all of them were riddled with problems, shower didn't work, beds trashed, windows didn't close, cooker didn't work, fridge didn't work etc etc.
We went down to see the hotel manager, and luckily (we thought) the GoldTrail rep was there at the time, we told him about the problems in the room and his response was "F Off", we then turned to the rep who shrugged her shoulders and said repairs were nothing to do with Goldtrail.
This alone infuriated us, but there was nothing we could do but make the most of the two weeks we had remaining on our holidays.
The worst point about this hotel is that it was full of yobs, doors clashing, fights, screaming until gone 5am every night, we all had to visit the pharmacy to get some strong sleeping tablets just to sleep.
We were fortunate enough to be in Marmaris when the large storm hit, I say fortunate because it was fantastic to watch, and to experience rainfall and lighting like that, however when we were driven back to our hotel we climbed the stairs which were a waterfall, now this is not unusual because Turkish hotels are seasonal for the most part, and thus not made completely waterproof, but what was annoying is that my apartment was completely flooded, the bed was wet through, the fridge was arching, nothing was dry. The hotels response was to give me 1 towel, tell me to turn the trip switch off (this is at 1am) and dry the floor (while tonnes of rain floods in).
I was not happy at happy days.
I would urge you not to book this hotel, and if at all possible do not use Goldtrail.
To top all of that off, we have friends at the Sidewalk Bar and Restaurant which is located within Time Plaza, Amutalan, who mentioned to us that the Green Park Apartments weren't busy, we decided to look into the hotel to see the rooms for next season, we were shown 4 rooms all excellent, and homely, then the manager told us we could stay there for free for our last week, unfortunately we only had a day to go so it was pointless us taking his offer up, but he gave us prices for next year which we were very happy with.
Club Happy Days Apartments - The name is a joke!
Skip on the next hotel has to be better!

The bar staff and hotel staff could not do enough for us. We had two rooms and they opened the adjoining door so we were linked up without going out main doors which was great when kids in bed we stayed in other room and they did not hear us it was such a relaxing holiday had by all.
Thanks to Jake, Alex, Baren, Curly, Martin and Bobby and everyone else see you all soon.

The bar staff were all fantastic! Especially Jake the bar manager. There was nothing that they all wouldn't do for you.
At night times all the shows were great, the food was fantastic. its great value for money, and we are going back there this summer.

Thank god we only went for a cheap week away. We went up to the apartment which was horrible. Bare wires showing, no light in the bathroom, no kettle, no fridge, the balcony just about fit two chairs on. The table inside was filthy.
The pool area was great, and staff o.k.
Very bad thunder and lightening but didnt stop us enjoying ourselves. All in all just needs a good cleaning and modernising.
Will go to Turkey again but not these apts. (after all you dont want the hassle after travelling for hours).

The worst thing about the hotel was the noise from the adjoining hotel that our balcony overlooked. If you wanted an early night to get up for an early trip in the morning, or the kids are tired and you just want them to grab an hour's kip forget it! Loud, and I mean LOUD music until midnight and we could hear it from 3 different hotels and it did our heads in. Thankfully at 12 the noise police come round and tell everyone to stop the music, they don't however tell the guests to shut up. Voices echoed and became amplified so if you get a couple of rowdy guests drinking til 4am that can get quite annoying. Why they can't just ask them to come further into the building so that you can't hear them I don't know. Then at 5am they started dragging the sunloungers about. My brother in law asked them if they wouldn't mind lifting them and he was told to f*ck off. Charming!
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but we found a couple of them quite arrogant and ignorant. They only seemed to give a damn if you are a busty young lass and willing to have your breasts grabbed as they chuck you into the pool. A number of us were ignored at the bar and had our drinks orders forgotten as they went off to flirt.
We went to the Turkish night and the food was lovely but the entertainment crap. After 10 days in the resort we got fed up with the same stuff everynight. Belly dancers (the ones here weren't my idea of belly dancers, aren't they supposed to have bellies? These were cheap pole dancers in my opinion), breakdancers ect you get them at every bar and it gets tedious after a while.
We were pleasantly surprised by the Sunday dinner, in fact most of the food we had there was quite nice.
In summary if you're up for a laugh, like being flirted with by the locals and are up until 3am every night and don't mind noise go here. This was advertised as a "quiet family resort". I have a feeling they have no trades descriptions act in Turkey like they have no copyright laws.
