The staff was great and entertainment was the best.
The pool area was ideal and no problems getting sunbeds in the morning.
The only problem we had were the rooms the were old and furniture was out dated but you could live with that BUT the beds had bed bugs and they BITE big time 3 out of 4 of us were bit my husband had to have medical attention cause of his. The hotel sprayed the room and beds but it didn't help.
If Club Happy Days up dated there rooms and beds I would be back in a flash.

I was not happy with this hotel at all. We had to move apartments due to the problems that we had. The first room, no top sheets for bed, not enough crockery and cutlery for 4 people, toilet would not work, toilet door was broke, thick layer of dust on the shelf. Second room, had to take the crockery and cutlery from first room as there still was not enough in the second room, air con did not work properly and made a drastic noise every night, sheets were not changed, only got 2 big towels and 2 hand towels for 4 adults, lift did not work properly. The cleaners did come in every day and wash the floor and change the bins, but there is not enough cleaners for the apartments and I have to say that the people were very nice.
Location is good as it is not in Marmaris itself, just outside in a place called Armutalan which is lovely and only costs 1Lira on the bus to get to the town centre.
Did not stay in the apartments for food and entertainment.

The rooms are cleaned everyday by the maids but not very well!The toilets in reception are rotten aviod if you can! There are not enough cleaners for this hotel.
The food is ok for snaks around the pool but thats about it.
The staff here are very friendly and honest. The reason I say honest is because I left my wifes very expensive gold bracelet on top of the safty deposit box and one of the cleaners handed it in for me ! Lucky Me !
Go to the Turkish night on Wednesdays its very good and the foods great. When we went even 2 of the staff were fighting each other!
So thats a big fat NO to returning this hotel !!!!!

We arrived at Club Happy Days around 5am and when we were given our room keys to find that we were separated from our friends, in separate sides of the complex (there are two separate hotels side by side)
The room that we were put in looked like the door had been forced open with a knife and the door handle was hanging off. We complained to the manager when he arrived and we were moved straight away to a room next door to our friends. The room was cleaned daily and was not brilliant but it was liveable. We had to go in mid afternoon for a hot shower as there was no hot water after 3pm.
The food was ok for snacks around the pool at lunchtime but I can not comment on evening meals as we always eat out on a night. The rep was absolutely useless, the first day I arrived after no sleep and the heat I fainted and fell down some steps, two Turkish men ran to help me and took me into reception were the rep was, she didn

The reason I would not visit the hotel again is I would not go to turkey again, the Turkish people used to be very friendly and loving now all they want to do is hassle you 24/7, the reps are just the same they tell you not to go on trips with outside companies as they have no insurance but they do and are half the price goldtrail charge , the reps are on commission !!, the staff at the hotel are sound and very helpful, but if you want to make a meal forget it no pots or pans worth mentioning, no oven or toaster 2 cups 3 glasses for 4 people

First time in Turkey, never considered visiting before? Why I don't know, very hot, which took some getting used to, but the staff and hospitality was exceptional.
Reps were'nt spectacular but it is a thank less task I suppose. An example being getting to resort early morning one of the children left their bags on the transfer coach. Don't believe much effort was made to enquire as to where it turned up.
This though did not spoil the holiday. Accomodation basic but you get used to it. The food and the staff were brilliant, Thank you Basri(Bobby) Jamal, 'Small Baby' when I arrived home went to Travel Agents next day to book for next year
I am writing this as news of the explosions unfolds. That WILL NOT stop us coming back next year.

After reading other reviews I was sceptical about what it would be like.Got there had a good look round apartment for dirt but have to say ours was clean and yes very basic.
Maids were there every day doing the floors and beds and changed towels. Bedlinen and towels were clean. Staff, food, entertainment, pool all brilliant. Only one thing got to us and that was the loud music blaring out at night. Didn't get much sleep the whole fortnight but they did start turning it down at 12.00 eventually. Then on our last night it went off at 12.00 they said they aren't allowed to have it on after that so if that's the case it would be nice to go back.
The apartments are in a lovely area and the Red Rose at the top of the road is excellent as is all the rest.

Club happy days is fab for everyone it has very clean rooms and pools, brill staff and good location.
The appartments are located in armutalan but is a 10 min dolmus ride away from main marmaris and the local bus stop is a 2 min walk away.
The staff hakan, jake, tiger, hasan, speedy, martin, mervan, and the rest are very excelent and make your stay even more enjoyable. they put on different entertainment each night and every night its fantastic.
I will definatly be visiting happy days again but without my parents next year!!

We just got back yesterday the 1st of July 06, and I was so sad to leave.
We were in the left side of Club happy days,the one with the slide.
The reception is a clean place,and the shop is handy and cheap,the blonde lady who work's there is lovely.
The lifts were old,and quite scary,but I never got stuck in them.
The room...
The room was a little small,and had a bed in the main room,for me,and the bedroom had a double bed for my mum/dad and had a single bed for my brother.
The living room,also had a kitchen area,but we never ate in,we could not even if we wanted to,as it took us 1 hour and 10 minutes to boil an egg! And we only had one pan and one cooker ring was broke.
The bathroom..
The bathroom was clean and tidy,but our toilet,kept filling up,making an awful noise,so to stop it,the manager said press down on it,so my little brother did but,broke the lid...
Our shower leaked a little also.But it was clean.
The maid cleaned all the time.The hotel was very clean.
The pool was big and fun.
The outside bar had nice food and music.The bar people were lovely,mainly Speedy.
Entertainment was great,they had a belly dancer and everything.There Turkish night on a Wednesdy is cool.
Overall.
Nice clean basic hotel.
In an amazing place.
Carnt wait to go back.
