We stayed on a all inclusive basis in the hotel, the rooms are spacious and are very clean and the maids come round every day, the only down side was that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which for a hotel claiming to be 4 star needs to be addressed. The staff overall are friendly but there are one or two that you have to be a little more assertive with when ordering drinks at the bars particulary if they are talking to females, i interupted once having waited patiently for about five minutes and it did not happen again. Now to the food well it was well pesented in the buffet restaurant and to be fair to the hotel they do have to cater for all nationalities,Dont expect a full english breakfast, they have cereal, boiled eggs, beans, and what can be only described as a mixture of fried ham and hot dog sausages. but you can get fried eggs and omlettes out at the snack bar. The main meals were a bit repetitive at times and used Chicken and Turkey (but dont be put off by this i just dont like chicken or turkey alot) but they do a very good salad bar and give you a choice to eat at the outdoor snack bar.if you want to go out for something to eat try the Elvis bar across the road we found the food very good. The hotel alcoholic drinks are available up to 11-00pm then you get a green card from reception and you put money on it to purchase drinks a the night bar, never seen any entertainment so can not make any comments on it.also make use of the free hotel mini bus which can take you to either Marmaris or icmeller beaches were you dont have to pay for sun loungers and they pick you up and costs nothing, hope all that helps you, would i stay there again yes i would,

We have never been to Turkey before but were very exited on the way. On the way back we were too exited to arrive home! The weather was (as expected) sunny every day! The hotel was a good place, the rooms were fine but by the end of the holiday we found it uncomfortable as the air conditioning was rubbish and we found it uneasy to sleep in such hot contitions. Hotel staff are very friendly and polite however bar staff were rude to some people and too close to others (mainly females); aswell as serving cheap drinks in half filled cups and glasses. By the end of the holiday we were ill as there was nothing to eat! Also because we found out that water from local dispensers was filled from a tap! Entertainment was basically the same and was very boring. Trips were a rip-off as there were places they took us to (which we didn't know were included in the trip) basically trying to sell you something. The bartering is ridiculous, not to mention awkward and uncomfortable! We will never go again!

Well what can i say...It was our first visit to Turkey, and listening to mixed view's,we were a bit nervous, but as soon as we arrived at the Grand Hotel Cettia we were put at ease.
The Hotel staff were very welcoming with the porter waiting to take us to our very bright, spacious and very clean rooms.I just want to say a big Thank you to all the cleaners for all there hard work as every day we arrived back, there was a swan, fan and even hearts laid out on the bed, made out of the towels.(WELL DONE).
I was worried about the food ,as i'm quite pickie myself, but i have't to say it was good. There was a great variety. The presentation was excellent, but everyone has different tastes.
The location wasn't to bad as you could get the bus just outside the hotel which were running about every 10 mins.
What can i say about the Bar and waiting staff...
I just want to big thank you to all the staff, they were fantastic.(THANK YOU)they made us feel very welcome.
I want to say a special Thank you to Irfan,Ronaldo,Smurf and the rest of you,you were brilliant. You made our holiday.
Not forgetting the Bar manager and the Restaurant manager you were brilliant.
I wasn't to impressed with the entertainment, but the kids enjoyed it,so who are we to moan.
I would differently like to go back it was FANTASTIC.
THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH YOU WERE BRILLIANT.

Well where can I start, I had never been to Turkey before but, I will be returning.

My partner her daughter and myself travelled with another family to Club Cettia and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! I only regret leaving it so long to post this review.

I have never been made to feel as welcome as I was on our arrival. Tom, Rose and the rest of teh guys at the Ege bar did everything to make our stay an enjoyable one.

The entertainment was 1st class and the food excellent and the accomodation clean and comfortable.

The only thing I would say that the prices weren't as reasonable as I expected but, the prices at the resort were in line with other bars etc in Marmaris.

Visit the Club Cettia appartments and with Tom at the helm of the Ege bar you are sure to have a fantastic holiday.

Thanks again to Tom, Rose, Ash, Emin, Ahmet and the rest of the guys at the Ege bar, we'll hopefully see you again soon!!

We stayed in the Grand Cettia Hotel on an all inclusive basis.
The hotel was clean, with a maid coming into our room everyday with clean towels and bed linen.
We spent the first couple of days by the hotel pool, which was to crowded and over run by children and you had to be up around 6am to get a sunbed.
We was very surprisd the food was good and there were plenty of options,as having read the reviews before going,we were not looking forward to eating there.
The beer tasted as though it was watered down and the bar staff were very rude and arogant, when you asked for a drink. They also moaned when you asked for more than 1 drink.
The entertainment here was also poor!!!!
I would deffinatly recomend any one to visit the spa for a massage as it was fantastic.
After the first couple of days we decided to go to the Club Cettia appartments pool area.We found this pool more relaxing, more fun(due to the great entertainment by Tom and Rose)and we had no need to get up early to get a sun bed.
Aswell as using the Club Cettia appartments pool and bar during the day,we also used the bar at night.
The staff here were very friendly and great fun!!
Again the entertainment by Tom and Rose at night was also good!!
This bar also did not close till the last customer left, unlike the Grand Cettia notel which was all closed at 11pm,how ridiculous!!!!
Due to this we used the Club Cettia appartment facilities for the rest of our holiday, but it was a shame this area was not included in our all inclusive.
The hotel is in a good location with a 20minuite walk to the centre of marmaris and beach front, but you can also catch a bus from outside the hotel which came reguly.
Due to the Grand Cettia being so poor,we ended up drawing more money out and spent a lot more than we anticipated.
We would not return to the Grand Cettia Hotel, but will definatly return to the Club Cettia Apartments, and hopefully next year!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed in the apartments - self catering. Very impressed with the apartments, they were more like 5* than 4*. We had a huge one bedroomed apartment which was lovely and clean, very spacious and well set out. Maids came in everyday to clean and did an excellent job. The location is very good, we have been to Marmaris 8 times (1st time at Cettia) so we knew where to go etc. The food was OK but quite expensive compared to other restaurants. We noticed the prices had shot up since last year. The staff in the hotel were very friendly but we were not impressed with the bar staff at all. The entertainments Team Rose & Tom were very good but not great with small kids. They would much rather play adult water polo and killer pool. The bar staff were mardy, never smiled and moaned no matter what you asked for. After the 2nd day we decided to stay at our sister in laws hotel during the day and during the evening as it was much better. When the rep asked what was wrong we explained the attitude of the staff - she said it was because they worked long hours!!! - eveyone in Turkey work long hours!!!! The rep was not interested in our views. After 8 years of going to Marmaris this is the worst hotel in terms of bar staff. I would never go back.

We stayed in the hotel and were all inclusive. On reading the reviews we were a bit worried about what we were going to expect but we had no need to worry it was the best holiday we have ever had and would defintly return though i would recommend staying in the apartments self catering and not the hotel as i will tell you why.

We spent the first couple of days around the hotel pool,it wasnt very pleasant it reminded us of a cattle market,it was very crowded, and very noisy with the kids running around i would not of felt comftable letting my 2 young children (31/2 and 20 months) going in the pool on there own or anywhere else. The staff were rude and often moaned if you ordered more than 1 drink and the drinks were very watered down especially the beer. The entertaiment wasnt very good either in the day or the evening. though i must say the food was very good there was always a variety so you could always find something that you liked,so that i would reccomend.

After a couple of days we decided to go down to the apartment pool and wow what a difference, it was very relaxed, everyone was very friendly, and made the effort to talk to each other. The staff were wonderfull, always making you laugh nd joining in and always had a smile on there faces considering the hours they had to work!! and the entertainers TOM and ROSE well what can i say
'OH MY GOD' they were excellent, there is not a bad thing that i could say about them they were brilliant. the day were brilliant as always doing water polo and games and the hotel dance.the staff couldnt do enough for the kids and they loved them all.we liked it there so much we only ever went up to the hotel to eat and to go to the room and then were back down there in the evening, though the only downside was we ended up spending alot of money considering we did go all inclusive beacaus we were down in the self catering all of the time!! as the bar stay open untill last person left where as the hotel bar closed at 11pm!!! i would recommed the self catering apartments and hopefully will be returning next year as had such a wicked time. well done all in cettia apartments thankyou for such a great holiday.

Have just returned from the club cettia resort hotel were I stayed for two weeks as a single customer. After reading previous reviews was very weary, but I was not to be disappointed. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you, their was a good choice of drinks, and the food was excellant, plenty of choice, their was a snack bar that did turkish pizza and other snacks and the choice of food at the buffet was outstanding. I would definetly recommend the Turkish baths at the beginning of the holiday, you will get a better tan. The entertainment could be improved but that was the only downside and the entertainment staff were very friendly. I would definetly recommend this hotel and from talking to customers in the hotel who had their children with them they would go back to the hotel too

Hey we visited, the grand cettia hotel in july. The first few days we stayed around the hotel pool and it was very crowded. After a little bit of exploring we found the cettia apartments. Down there was very relaxed and the staff were excellent, they would always make the effort when we went down there to make sure we had seats and a tables. The best thing i have to say is tom and rose. Those two work so hard in order to make everyone happy. OMG all i can say is this place is amazing and can't wait to go back. Thank you to everyone at cettia
