Well where do I start, we arrived around midday, reception called for staff from the bar to help with our cases, the staff didn't have a clue where our room was and had us trailing around the hotel. Finally we made it to our room, on the top floor of block 4. Room was like a sweat box, the bedrooms had a tiny little window in each, approximately 10cm squared, didn't let any air in whatsoever. When booking the hotel we had asked for a low floor room due to medical reasons. The following morning we asked for a change of room, which they did within around 4 or 5 hours. The next room was on the ground floor, had big bedrooms and huge windows that opened..:)

The pool wasn't very clean, around 6 children and two adults all had ear infections within our first few days of arriving. The pool is also 6ft deep all the way round, so not ideal for non-swimmers, the childrens pool is again very tiny, sort of a triangle shape one metre in length and at the widest maybe 30cm, put it this way, you put two children (babies) in there and it's full! You could say the pool isn't really children friendly.

The youngest child travelling with us had a very bad ear infection and had to go to hospital. We went to reception to ask where the nearest hospital was and if we had the correct documentation to help us, there was a lovely english woman on reception who was just about to help us, when an old turkish man came over and told her not to help us, saying we would need to sort it ourselves. The lady did want to help, but the older turkish man was shouting at her (in front of us) telling her not to get involved and it was nothing to do with them...? Not very helpful to say the least!

The maids came into the apartment daily to "clean" this generally meant a quick sweep round and the occasional change of towels.

There was quite a lot of entertainment on at the hotel, although we didn't see much of it. The bar prices were very high for a hotel, and the prices even went up the second week we were staying there as the hotel was a lot busier!

The food was ok, but again expensive and the prices went up the second week we were there.

There's no way i'd visit this hotel again, mainly due to the old man on reception, the pool and the lack of sunbeds around the pool. There was around 56 sunbeds for over 250 guests, it got so bad, people were out at 6am putting towels on the sunbeds!

We arrived in the early morning, given our room on the ground floor. The room was very dark, dull very hot and had no privacy from the people sitting at the pool area. The windows had no nets or blinds for privacy so we had to keep dark curtins closed at all times in that room. It was very clean but dark and made you feel as if we were in a cave. It was also very noisey even at 7am in the morning.
We changed rooms with no problem atall but still had the same problem stuffy and dark. Bathrooms need some sort of extractor as it gets very hot and has no ventilation. Our room was cleaned very well but did not recieve toilet paper the whole week we stayed.
The pool was lovely but foggy n didint look very clean. Some of the staff at the bar were slow and not very polite at times. The entertainment was ok but we didnt seem to be attracted enough to stay there and watch. The food we did eat in the hotel was quick and nice. I dont think i would visit the hotel again but it is in a brilliant location is very clean but does need work on the rooms and staff.

I stayed at the Maxwell with my family for two weeks. The rooms ere small but adequate and cleaned daily. The staff were excellent from bar staff to reception, security and cleaner.

The food was good and very reasonably priced. I was with my daughter and grandchildren and the staff were brilliant with the kids.

I have been to Turkey 12 times and have had great holidays and this was one of them.

My daughter was in hospital for a few days and the staff and reception staff could not be more helpful.

I would deinately stay at the Maxwell again.

We stayed at the Maxwell apts. the staff could not have been nicer. Reception staff always smiling and always saying good morning etc.

I will go back in October if I can get a good price.
The bar staff were excellent...............always laughing and joking, certainly made you feel welcome.

Nothing was a problem for the staff at these apartments.

Thanks for making our holiday enjoyable.

Maxwell Holiday Club, fantastic location.

Staff are great in the bar area, very friendly and do almost anything for you.

The pool has a slide but is only put on about 3-4 times a day for 20mins.. can get a little overcrowded in the pool with all the lilos. Kids loved it there and I also made a lot of friends which actually makes the holiday better...

I had a studio room which is actually bigger than expected. You have to buy your own toilet paper, but towels and bedding is changed twice a week.

I would defenitely recommend the Maxwell I loved it there and would most definitely be going again *****

We were on the ground floor facing the pool, a bit small but suited us fine because all we did was sleep and shower there. Music during the day coming in from the pool which was good for when you are getting ready. Room was clean, great free air con at night which was very much appreciated! Very nice maids cleaning the room. Self catering facilities were poor, just a fridge and a double ring cooker. Nice cafe with cheap food beside the pool anyway for snacks so didn't bother us. I cannot eat normal bread due to an allergy and so I took my own "special" bread which needs to be toasted to make it edible. I explained this to one of the bar staff and he was happy to explain this to the chef who then made me toasted sandwiches with my own bread. I even got a burger! Very impressed.

Bar and waiting staff were great, really friendly and very accomodating. Always interested in how your holiday is going and good to chat too. Hi to Erkan, Tuna and Caddy who made our holiday. Good fun at the Turkish night, always good craic at the bar.

Pool is very relaxed and there was generally some banter at the poolside. Slide was great for us big kids!!

I stayed at the Club Sediz, Marmaris which is just round the corner from the Harbour, Bizarre, Tansas and the Marina.

The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. The staff were lovely and the nightime reception lad Mehroot was very helpful.

The location of the hotel was excellent, we just walked up the street and could get a Dolmus (bus) outside Tansas (Supermarket) to anywhere.

The only problem we had was the 8 German lads in the next apartments who were noisy, always drunk and were up til all hours being very noisy.

The hotel night Security Officer was excellent though, he went to their rooms and had words with them.

We have just returned from Turkey after spending a lovely relaxing time. The hotel itself is centrally located, a short walk takes you the main area.

We were given a room on the top floor but asked to be moved as it was very tight in the bedroom with a slopping ceiling left very little room, as we arrived in the early hours of the morning, we waited until the morning to ask to move, this was no problem and they let us see the room they were offering.

We had a few teething problems with that one too, but they were soon sorted out, as we faced onto the poolside bar, I wasn't sure what to expect, but there was very little noise, I guess it depends who is at the hotel at the time what sort of holiday you have.

We paid an extra
