The hotel as a disgrace, there is not a single positive comment I can make about this hotel. The food was inedable, drinks watered down and the staff where so unhelpful its unture. after a 2 hour trip to the hotel we had to wait 4 hours to gain access to out room. I spoke to a elderly couple from wales who had to wait 6 hours after arriving at 22:00 ! dont bother gettin off the coach !

We stayed at the Pineta hotel for a week at the beginning of July. After travelling all day & arriving at 01.30hrs in the morning, and being told our room wasn't quite ready (it would be approx 10 mins) we finally got our room at 08.00!! The staff behind reception made pathetic excuses about the computer systems going down, the rooms were not ready just yet, they were unable to find room keys etc. The room was on the 4th floor, as shabby as you like with the wardrobe door not attatched so everytime you opened the wardrobe the door more or less fell off. The bathroom needed a serious revamp, we went through no end of towels as the shower curtina failed to contain the flow of water from the shower. The room itself was bareable but very basic with 1 wardrobe, a bedside table and a table/desk with the tv on and a mirror on the wall. We did hire a safe box, and a good job too as the room doors did lock but they were flimsy doors that wouldnt have taken much to break through.
The maid did clean the room daily, allbeit around 4pm in the afternoon when you want to try and get a few hours sleep, she was friendly, however smelt of very bad BO, so the room had clean sheets but a musty oudour was left in the room :(
The only positive I have is the air con worked very well - to the point that I woke up cold some mornings :)

Well for all those people who are commenting that people are snobs if they complain about this hotel....well that is a loads of rubbish....we are working class people who expect at least the basic standards from an hotel and this hotel did not have any standards.we arrived at 10pm on the 15th July to be told that there was no rooms ready for us...after 1 hour two parties had to share one room for the night and we were told we would get the 2nd room the next day, which we did.Food was disgusting unless you are happy to live on salad for 2 weeks,and with no air con in the dining room,it was like eating in an hot sauna and when you have sweat dripping from every part of your body whilst u are trying to digest what i can only describe as barely edible food then i do not class this as acceptable.We had 4 technicians to repair our air con as it was so loud it sounded like a Kango or a Tractor which meant we could not sleep at night,but none of the 4 men managed to fix it,so we just had to put up with it with sellotape attached to hold the cover on.Bathroom wash basin was 4 inches away from the pedestal,plugs hanging off the wall.Every morning there were people at reception arguing with staff because they had arrived and they were told there were no rooms for them,and this happened every single day we were there.The staff were accepting back handers from turkish men who turned up at night and paid for a room to take a female tourist back to,which is why when people arrived for there holiday their room was not ready because it was being occupied,this i witnessed for myself.i was made to sign a deleration at reception that i would not complain just so i could have late check out for my room,which i was promised in the first place.I would NEVER stay at this hotel again even if they were giving it away for free.Do not stay here, you have been warned.

I went to this hotel with my boyfriend on the 17th July 2010 for 2 weeks all inclusive. When we got there after the 2 hour transfer we thought it looked a bit shabby but ok.
We were given a room straight away but the lad at recption gave us the info about meal times and things in german!! The rooms are very very basic and not very clean. Plug sockets are on wonky! Our balcony looked straight onto someone elses balcony. The bathrooms were very dated and dirty, especially the toilet! The shower curtain didnt go round the shower enough so we ended up with puddles of water on the floor.
Pool area is about the best part of the hotel, although to get a sunbed you have to be there at about 7 in the morning! Drinks are flat and watered down, food was inedible apart from the bread! We ate out every night! Location was good, right near the beach and lots of restaurants.
The staff look at you like dirt, they pretend they cant understand you, ignore you, laugh at you when you complain, its disgusting. They only look after the Turkish people that come to the hotel. The whole place is carpeted, which is all coming up off the floor and is dangerous. I would NEVER EVER go back to this hotel, people may say you get what you pay for but this is supposedly a 4* hotel, its barely a 2*!
Our rep with holiday mate was rubbish, only saw him twice, asked him to sort something, he ran off from the hotel and told us someone else would sort it.
Didn't ruin our holiday but its a disgrace!

I loved this hotel! I did dread it a bit after reading the reviews but people do go over the top with them.
My boyfriend and I showed up, had our bags taken up to our room and we went straight to the pool. We made friends straight away with every single staff in the hotel including the take away people and the supermarket owner including the parrot!
The food was a bit repetitive but what do you expect in all inclusive. We never went starving and I actually enjoyed the food. The drinks were fine, nothing wrong at all and the area where the hotel is beautiful.
If you wish to go to the markets then its worth a look but you do get mothered. We did not have one problem with this hotel and loved the holiday.
Would definitely go again!

the hotel was discusting, we got moved as soon as we got there the room was discusting was facin the woods...the food was ok same stuff nearly everyday but edible, put us on marmaris again, we got threatned by the hotel manager because we was 20mins late out room that if we didnt pay him

my cousin and i got a really good deal on this holidays and decided to take it as a break away from home...after reading the reviews we were about to cancel however we thought we'd give it a go...honestly you get what you pay for...staff were very friendly to us and we found that the rooms were basic but clean...lets face it somewhere to lay your head at night and get ready in the morning and evenings...food was very basic but edible...although there was chicken every night there was something to cater for everyone and i must say their salad and bread was fresh every day which made it a lot more tastier...the bar did not close to 12 some nights and the drink was definitely not watered down...the bar staff are also very kind with their measures...air conditioning was free which was great, however at the time we went we spent the first 5 nights wrapped under a duvet and the heat on...definitely take in the turkish bath at this hotel..you get treated really well and the bath was lovely...the only downfall about this holiday was the location..its about 30minute walk from the centre of marmaris which is a bit far however the wee dolmus (buses) are frequent and worth the go on...all in all i would recommend this hotel and am definitely considering going again

Hotel grounds where fab 3 swimming pools lots of areas you could sunbath. Staff all very nice and friendly rooms basic (towels could do with being renewed) Bedcovers clean and changed every other day food was ok you wouldn't starve. HOWEVER what is wrong is the tourists who treat staff like second class citizens, fill their plates till they are overflowing them leave it to go into the bin, get drink and throw it away, be sick and walk away, get glasses from the inside bar and bring them to the pool only to knock them over and smashed glass everywhere. SO IS IT ANY WONDER THE HOTEL IS NOT BEING MAINTAINED TO A 4 STAR. Just look at how much the hotel is getting for your 2 weeks A/I. My experience has been very diffrent to most of the reviews I have read my holiday was cheap

room given on arrival totally unacceptable dirty toilet damp bedding moved to sligtly better midday morning after food cold uncooked dining area hot and dirty plates and cutelrey dirty location good hotel staff varied what entertainment would never visit this hotel again even if it was free of charge

the food was fine the entertainment was fine the rooms were basic but they were ok. you get what you've paid for and we had a lovley time.some people expect too much.the staff were friendly and made you feel welcome! make sur you go with an open mind and its up to you to enjoy your holiday.
ps.take a lot of money to use on the knock off markets apound goes a long way.
