The hotel was kept very clean. Room was cleaned daily. Cleaning staff very friendly - always smiling and polite. Towels changed once during week stay.

Large fridge but "cooker" was a two ring portable hob which you had to plug in at the side of the sink. Microwave fitted into kitchen units.

Air conditioning payable separately.

Only one toilet roll provided, further have to be purchased.

Staff were very friendly but did make my 14 year old daughter very nervous. When sat in the bar (set by pool), had to go back into main hotel for toilet and she would not go without me accompanying her.

We booked on a trip with our rep and after waiting over an hour for them to pick us up at the agreed collection point went back to our apartments. Although not their fault the receptionist got on to the tour company and sorted it for us.

Pool slide only open two hours a day and the days we were there for slide opening time we had to ask for slide to be switched on.

Quiz night good fun.

Turkish night was meant to include "Belly Dancers" but only one and she was very scary. Didn't explain what wanted of her "volunteers" and then pushing and pulling them about when they weren't sure what to do. Kept going off for side conversations inTurkish with bar staff and at end approached people to tuck money in her bra and if did not immediately give money screeching "money" at them trying to force thme to give money. I would say the belly dancer was the worst part of our whole stay. Was also meant to be Break dancers and karaoke but we went to bed nearly an hour after belly dancer finsihed and others told us after that there were no break dancers or karaoke.

On other nights, if we went out for tea, we were hoping we didn't bump into any of bar staff on way out, as were made to feel uncomfortable going out. Also tried to avoid them on way back in as called "lazy" if we didn't go into their bar for drinks before bed. Would say we're not the latest going to bed but was after midnight and three days we had trips booked involving an early start.

Apartments only 10 minutes from town and plenty to do in close proximity.

Stayed at the villa Sun apts for two weeks. In that two weeks we heard cases of thieft from the safes that were situated in the main lobby.

Only felt welcome when you was spending money by the pool or bar, if you didn't drink there at night Baz would ignore you!

Would not go back ever although we loved Turkey.

Villa Sun Apart was fantastic, the staff there were brilliant, friendly, helpful and great fun. They all mingle in with the people staying there and make them feel very welcome. My children said it is the best holiday ever. The rooms were cleaned and tidied daily.
The weekly bbq/Turkish night was good with a bellydancer and break dancers. We also joined in with the weekly quiz night. The apartments are fantastic with good amenities and the kids thought it great having two balconies. Not too close to the main night life but we were avoiding that anyway so not a problem for us. There are plenty of friendly eating places with excellent offers every night.

rooms were very nice clean and tidy on arrival and were maintained that way by the very friendly and helpful cleaning staff.although we were self catering we ate at the resturant all the time as the quality and variety of food was excellent. well done chef!the prices were very reasonable the staff very friendly and obliging also entertaining.we were made to feel very welcome although Baz is always busy but he always somehow manages to find the time to talk to his guests and makes everybody feel so welcome. well done Baz thoroughly enjoyed our selves see you again shortly!!!!!

we went to villa sun in june for three weeks and couldnt fault it everything was class one didnt want to come home we went back again in july for two weeks taking our granddaughter aged 6 with us. had an even better time. baz the owner well what can i say he was top man couldnt do enough for you any problems it was sorted not that we had any.dino on reception a really pleasant guy. the cook best cook in turkey never ate out didnt need two anything you wanted he would cook it no problem. bar staff were just spot on. appatments were spotless maids going in everyday.everybody got to know each other.really friendly atmosphere.there was music for all ages, quiz night great night and the barbeque nights were exellent. baz has the lease for the next five years. having been to turkey 18 times the villa sun was the best place we have been two.so for the next five years the villa sun will be the place for us.

i stayed at Villa Sun in May and I loved it and I've booked up for september.

The staff were great and so friendly.

It's a 10 min walk to the centre but that was nice as you could easily sleep on a night.

The food was nice and a good price.

The cleaners were friendly and always talked to my 1 year old daughter. Everyone made you feel so welcome and I can't wait to see everyone in September!!!

The hotel was great. The staff were really friendly and taught us some Turkish.The rooms were clean but basic and if you like a hot shower you you might not get one because the hot water only lasts for about 5 mins max,but the weather was so hot that didn't matter.

The location is good because its out the way of all the noise but you can walk to some bars in about 5 mins and the main town about 10-15 mins.

There wasn't entertainment every night because we went at the end of season but when there was it was good.

Cant wait to go next year.

I have been to Turkey 5 times before, this was the worst apartments that I have ever stayed in.

The staff were rude and not very nice.

The shower was always cold.

We had a cockroach in our room, when we complained they gave us a spray to kill it, but said that they needed it back for the kitchen, needless to say that we never ate food at the hotel again.

The location wasn't very good, not close to anything.

Whilst we were their a couples room got broken into and money stolen, nothing seemed to be done about it, someone also got mugged just outside the apartments.

Me and my boyfriend who are both under the age of 21 visited this hotel in august to September 2006.

The night we arrived the man on reception was not very friendly or helpful, however throughout the rest of the holiday the staff were very friendly.

The other problem was that the reception staff could not speak very good English whereas the bar staff could! The rooms were kept very clean, but our towels were only changed once in the week we were there.

The hotel was quite a walk away from the beach but if you enjoy lying by the pool all day, its a really nice pool area with the bar at hand as well so you can get drinks and ice creams whenever you like.

However the entertainment at the hotel was not very good at night time so every night we would go out to eat somewhere else and then walk elsewhere to find entertainment. There is plenty around in Marmaris for all ages, especially down at the beach.
