Location
Hotel rooms loud, we were by reception and we could hear all the noise not to mention the receptionists TV every night.
They were building a road outside the hotel so we had to dodge pipes, mud tracks and workmen to get in the hotel. Staff were OK. We did not see any entertainment.

The rooms were clean and bright and cleaned daily. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful and looked after us well.
Food was okay but what do you expect for the money, it was hot and edible and didn

On our first day we where remembered and greeted enthusiastically and with genuiness by Gem, Ayhan & Memhet the owner who all remembered us from two years ago,
In the two years since we last visited there has been an improvement in the quality of the food, although still mainly chicken, beef and fish the creativity by the chefs meant there was only one night out of the whole fortnight where we did not want to eat anything there. We ate out a total of 5 times over the two weeks this being our choice not because of hotel food on offer.
Staff in the restaurant and small bar work tirelessly to serve you, they are always there with a friendly smile and a willingness to talk and improve there English and help you with your Turkish.
The only disappointment for me was the so called animation team who insisted on playing uncensored R & B music for the majority of the day at a volume that allowed neither relaxation reading or sleeping. They where constantly shouting and showing off day and night to any person who was in the vicinity, but doing very little in the form of real entertainment for those who desired it.
We have in the past stopped in large impersonal hotel complexes where the Animation team are at you none stop to join in, it may suit some of our continental cousins, but for us we prefer peace and relaxation and somewhere to sit and talk to other guests in the evening over a drink.
They would come and interrupt conversations, pick up and handle items you had purchased without a thought of whether it caused offence. I tried to be subtle in my suggestions that this was causing offence to no avail and in the end resorted to being rude towards them.
After a discussion with Memhet about their antics they did calm down for a few days, I also got the impression that they would not be there next year? I will be emailing Memhet personally to find out before I book again.
Overall the hotel is value for money, satisfactory food and drink, along with an acceptable level of cleanliness.
If you are a five star person or someone who likes quality entertainment, avoid the Pink Palace
On the other hand if you are open minded, adaptable and want friendliness in the staff want a no frills all inclusive basis at an affordable price, a location on a dolmus route to Olu Deniz and Feithye passing the gate and only a five minute walk into Hisaronu, you could not pick a better hotel to stay in than the Pink Palace.

On arrival we were shown to our family room which was large and clean one little hitch the children were expected to sleep in the same bed (girl 15 - boy 13) soon sorted and another single bed was brought to the room.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful speaking quite good English, we had a few laughs when communication did not go quite as planned and we always got there in the end.
The animation team were annoying on occasion but after the manager had a word with them they soon calmed down.
The food was good, chicken, beef vegetables and fish mainly but all recipes were very creative and tasty. Through choice we ate out occasionally in Hisaronu very cheap and lots of choice the Turkish people are a credit to there country as they make you feel very welcome and safe!!!
The pool at the hotel is lovely and yes it do's get slippery but that was soon combated by wearing flip flops.
The bar opened at 10 in the morning and closed at midnight no problems with limits on drinks what you wanted you could have as long as you were not drunk.
The location of the hotel is excellent with a dolmas service running approx every 5 Min's past the hotel to take you to Oludeniz and Fethiye.
We enjoyed 2 weeks of sun (42 in the shade) and fun with a few excursions that we booked in Hisaronu after we arrived.
All in all we had a fabulous time and would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

New manager was there and was not as good as the last one who got to know everyone.
The entertainment was not vey good only young guys making a total fool of themselves and was only interested in chatting up the young girls.
But on the whole we had a great time, in general the hotel was very clean and the staff was always happy to help.

The reception speak very little English as well as many of the staff other than the entertainment staff but they do try and are very good. The rooms are very small and we ended living out our suitcases. The Bathroom is so compact that if you want a toilet you have one leg in the shower! I couldnt believe it. No plug for the sink and the because of the basic drain no toilet paper can be put down the toilet. The shower we did not have hot water for 5 days and when complained they said yes that is a problem but if you want a shower you cannot take a shower in peak time 5pm to 8pm which is highly fustrating.
The walls are very thin and you can hear poeple 5 doors away as everything echoes. In terms of security no windows have locks and you can simply slide the window open and anyone can climb in! The cleaner leaves windows and doors open on occasion so the mosquitos can come in.
The food is well cooked and good to eat. We eaton out most nights that were fustrating as they have a wasps nest on the hotel grounds and at meal times they all come out to eat your food and circle you in drones and is simply unnaceptable. Anyone allergic stay away!
The entertainment staff are really good though as they try there best with what facilities they have available. They speak good english and try to get you involved in the activities. The hotel has no budget for them and no equipment for example we was playing water polo with a popped ball. I felt that sorry for them I ended up buying them some balls to make there job easier. It also does not distill any confidence when the staff are telling you they want to leave as they have had enough.
The drinks are limited and they do not allow you to drink to any excess as they simply refuse to serve the drinks to you even if you have had one drink. The place is fantastic though so if you want to go just find another hotel. Do not use K&S as these are cowboys who are aware of this problem and say if you do not like it you have to pay more to downgrade!!! I am sure this says it all. they ignore all the problems and only care about there wellbeing.
I stress that if you do have any children be very careful around the pool areas as these are very slippy when wet and make sure non are allergic to wasps as even the staff were being stung. They have an alsation that roams freely called Daisy but do not be alarmed as it is old and would not harm anyone as I do not think it is capable. It got ran over while we were there which was ashame but recovering. The other smaller dog just lies in the bushes and will not go near anone even when called. It will not bite you unless you kick it excessively like some children did and it snapped but I think anyone would.

Only a 4 minute walk from the hotel to all the nightclubs, loads to do and everyone was very friendly.
Food was good. Drinks whenever you wanted them, very cheap and very clean.
It helped that we had a lovely bunch of people staying at the hotel also.
All the staff were lovely.
I am returning to Pink Palace in 2007 with my friend and mother - its fabulous

Food was repetitive mainly chicken and fish.
Room was cleaned twice in 7 days.
Pool area was a good size and not over crowded, although you had to have your towel on a sun lounger by 7.30am.
There is a slight hill climb when walking into hisaronu.
Overall enjoyed hisaronu but i would choose a bed and breakfast hotel next time, and eat in local restaurant.
The weather was 95f hot!!!!!

The hotel was amazing.
The food was basic but nice.
It was fairly clean but could be better.
