Thank you, I can now budget my pennies, ive pre booked most of my things so if i fancy an excursion i will throw it on the old visa.

Was red bull in the all inclusive? and what was the ai cola like?

 Red Bull wasnt in the AI, but you could buy it easy enough they were well stocked. The Cola is proper Cola, and I know this because I am really picky when it comes to Cola.

Thank you Debora, Im fussy too, only like the real thing! (lol)

We are really looking forward to the holiday its the first time ive taken the kids out of spain. i have been worried about the mosquitos as i used to work abroad and was eaten alive.

But ive bought the mozzie bands etc so feel that im prepared now after reading fantastic reports about the PP.

 Youll have a brilliant time nonnielane, the Turkish are very welcoming and friendly, the food is plentyfull and a large variety, especially try the freshly prepared pizza, im not usually a pizza fan but I was hooked, they make it at the bar at the side of the slide pool, and its made while you wait, there isnt anything I can fault and Im already looking at booking for next year unless I win on the Lottery (pray) then I dont have to wait that long.

The Mozzies are out in force but I took loads of lotions and potions and I only had one or two bites, my hubby didnt bother with anything and he didnt get any more than me (think I must have bad blood). So if your prepared you should be ok.

If you get in to Sarigerme try the Angora and Milisa bar both very friendly.

Take Care Debbie x

 Just a little something else to add from a post earlier, my hubby, son, daughter and two nephews all ended up with ear infections. Its not down to the pools being dirty because there cleaned every night I think its just down to the amount of time they spent in the water so it would be a good idea to take some ear plugs and drops.

I just visited the resort report and one person said their kids loved CROWSFEET ISLANDand wondered what and where it is?

can anyone help?
Reply
 Crowfeet Island is the kids hour theres, music and the reps do all sorts of thing through the week and Goulash the purple monster which my 2 year old nephew hated but was fun to watch. It takes place in the amphiteatre from 8-9pm then a game of bingo and its for big money me and my sis were hooked then a show or entertainment, we spent many a good night down there.

Hi Debora or Tottya (if you are online)

In Tottya's (sam) post she mentioned different flavours of schnapps are they part of the AI package or do you have to pay? Its just they havent been mentioned before and i love peach schnapps and the orange one she mentioned sounded gorgeous!!!!!

Also you mentioned your husband wore 3/4 pants did most people and di anyone wear smart shorts at night? I think it will be too hot for long pants in august so they dont usually pack them but i know when we have been 4* before they have to wear them.

Thanks Vicky

When we there last year there was no dress code and you had people in their swimwear in the restaurant. Hope it is a little bit stricter for you all this year as It was not nice to sit on wet seats.

Even if they up the dress code I still think that you will be able to wear 3/4 or smart shorts.

I drank the schnapps drink (melon flavour mmm!!) most of the time, it was included in the AI, but ask for liquor if they don't know what your on about, don't think they call it schnapps. The vodka was suprisingly strong but not as half as the Reki (national drink also AI) only had one of these it was my first and last

Regarding the dress code for men, I can't see that on a family holiday village that they would have a problem with smart shorts or 3/4 lengths. We have found that the dress code insisting on trousers is enforced in 4 star hotels +. like i've said in earlier postings, whilst there last year, you could wear what you liked. It never bothered us one bit and never saw any "scruffs" in the restaurant at night BUT at lunch the main problem was kids coming up wet from the pool and even some adults. Water and marble floors do not mix well and I saw several accidents where people slipped on the wet floor, children and adults I may add.

Just back from the Pegasos Palace yesterday and can honestly say that all those who are about to go are in for a great time and I'm very jealous!

The hotel and its grounds are kept spotlessly clean, the room was lovely, the food was great (and plentiful!) and the evening entertainment was fantastic. Who could ask for more??!!

I will echo the answers to the last few questions posted (if only to emphasise how great this holiday is):

Trousers - A lot of guys wore three quarter length trousers in the evening and it wasn't a problem although it could be quite chilly some evenings and the mossies do like to have a nibble at your ankles if you haven't applied your Sin Kov repellent. If you're going soon, the ladies might certainly like to take a light jacket or cardigan for the evening because those who were sober enough to care were cold sometimes.

Drinks - The drinks were VERY free-flowing. They certainly aren't watering down the spirits and I would agree about the flavoured liqueurs - they are great. From memory you could have Orange, Melon (lovely!), Peach, Mint (Hmm!) or what they called Amaretto (I think) which would of course be Almonds. Tried the first 3 and loved them all - particularly as I added a measure of Vodka to mine to 'beef it up'. The mixers were Coke, Fanta and Sprite. They were not as strong flavoured as if you would buy in bottles or cans but they certainly did the job.

Money - We hardly spent anything extra other than a few sweets for the evenings and the £2 we paid for the kids clubs in the evening when they had a special event like the chocolate party or sweetie bingo which was every other night when we were there. As we were only there for a week, we didn't do any trips and our daughter wasn't interested in the pool, bowling, internet, the ice-creams you had to pay for or the popcorn/candyfloss.

Kids clubs - 10am, midday, 2.30pm, 4.30pm (all for 1.5hours) and then 9-11pm. Our daughter is 6 and loved everything and the staff were great. You didn't need to pre-book when we were there but I guess this may change when it gets busier. At the moment, you just turn up. Security for the kids was great too - you have a card with the names and signatures of anyone who might be collecting your child and they only fetch your child once they check that signature with the one you give when you come to collect them. Great for 'peace of mind'.

Currency Exchange - This can easily be done at reception and the reception staff are great. I think the exchange rate was around 2.55 when we were there and that was better than we got at our local Holiday Hypermarket.

Ice-Cream - Vanilla, Choc, Strawberry, Lemon and Pistachio. All Walls and all fantastic. No cheap ice-cream here! Free cones available from the beach bar until 5pm, but freely available at lunch and dinner.

Mozzies - My wife and I got a couple of small bites but our daughter got none at all. We only noticed ours when we were applying sun cream the next day, so they weren't bad and certainly won't spoil your holiday. Not sure how much this may change as it gets hotter, but it was flippin hot when we were there last week.

Anyway, that's it for now. Please feel free to ask questions and have a great holiday.

Glad you had a great time TheFenners

Can you add a report to the hotel/resort section? My wife reads them all the time but don't bother with the forum!

Did you take any photos?

How was the room you had?

Cheers

Thanks for your post TheFenners its great to read another positive reviews.....those liquors sound nice!!!!
Glad you had such a good time we dont go til august.
You said your daughter was 6.......when we go my son will be 5 (6 1wk after our return) and my neices will already be 6 did they check the ages at the kids club? i have asked before and was told last yr they did and i dont really want to lie as like i had said in an earlier post it would void insurance and he might get banned from kids club if they find out but im worried they will be upset at being seperated and also that the group for 3-5yr olds will be too babyish for him.
Also did you enjoy the food.....everyone else so far has said it was lovely and sounds much better than last year.

Thanks Vicky

Witht he kids club, one of my Sons will be 3 about two months when we return. He is big for his age and he may feel the creche is too small for him, will they let him in the 3-5 club?

Cheers
