We went a few years ago with FC to Lanzarote and my kids would have been seperated but my youngest wouldnt go without the other so they let my daughter go to the younger group to be with him.
They will let the older ones do down a group but not the other way round (like you said for ins purposes)

Bathroom - Well appointed with jacuzzi bath and all the usual freebies like comb, cotton wool, hair/body wash and soap. All rooms have a very unusual toilet with integrated bidet which took a bit of getting used to but was quite handy. Huge mirror over the sink although Mrs F said the light wasn't as good as it could be for her makeup - and she needs plenty!
Bedroom - Huge king-size bed with bedside cabinets and dressing table. Plenty of wardrobe space too. Sliding door through to lounge area.
Lounge - Ours was converted into a spare bed for our six-year-old which was a bit of a pain if you just wanted to watch a bit of telly. We had a DVD player but if you are taking copies, then you need to take -DVDs because it wouldn't play the plus ones. Then double doors out onto the balcony which faced one of the main pools (there are 17 pools across the 2 hotels by the way).
Extras - Because people have asked, I can confirm No iron and No kettle. Aircon worked well.
Hope this helps.
I think they will all find it too babyish therfore i cant see the girls wanting to move down a club.......ah well we will just have to play it by ear when we get there.
MCFESTER
i cant see them letting him in it atall as insurance cover probably doesnt start until age 3......also they will get more cash out of you for creche!!!!!!
I am contemplating putting my baby in creche but im not too sure it was recommended to me by someone on here (poss footballswampie?) he said it was great and could probably tell you more about it my baby will only just be 1 when we go so im not sure and he isnt great with strangers but it might be good for him....also he sleeps for about 2hrs in an afternoon so i could probably put him in prma in the shade and have 2hrs peace and quiet for free!!!!!
Vicky
Maybe your youngest might make some friends and decide to go after all, thats what happens once mine go to the seperate clubs (this is the first year they will be in the same club) and they are inseperable at home.(2yrs between them)
The Tropical is closed for the duration of my stay which is 8th june to 22nd june but the grounds open but not allowed to use the pools, i think its cause of underoccupancy (but dont quote me! as my phone crackly when im on the internet and the phone at the same time) and regards to the ice cream it is not included.
although i think some reports are coming back saying the icecreams are! maybe FC just covering themselves.

Ultimately, I think it is worth checking the registration form when you get to thr welcome meeting and also speak to the kids club staff - they are very good and I'm sure they will try to help you if they can. You also need to be aware that there are some activities that they will not allow kids under 6 to do like the sea scooters and snorkelling (both in the pool), but these were mostly in addition to the kids clubs and were classed as family events for the adults to be included also.
Sorry this is not as helpful as you might have hoped.
nonnielane - the ice cream cones from the beach bar are definitely free and they had no issues with my chocolate-faced monster going back for a second after she had only just eaten her first. You only get a very small scoop but you can ask for more than one flavour and this means that you get a bigger ice-cream (sorry if that makes me sound like a pig!).
You can walk around the Tropical but there was nothing going on there. The pools are full but many are not being filtered and were a little green. To be honest, you wouldn't even know the other hotel was there unless you went looking but there was no reason to go looking because there was so much at the Palace anyway. When the Tropical opens, it would be good to try their water slides because a couple of them seemed a bit bigger/higher than the ones at the Palace, but the kids didn't seem all that interested anyway.
thank you thefenners for the info,my kids just love to have their ice cream, it wouldnt be holidays otherwise!!!!!! lol

I would ignore Fc about the icecream and just go on the reviews as everyone is saying you can get them free from the same place people last year said.....in my FC shop she guaranteed me we had AI ice-cream so i think it depends who at FC you speak to!!!!! My little lad and neices would also be going mad if there was no free icecream!!!
Vicky
I put my little boy in the creche last year and he enjoyed every minute of it. They supply you with a mobile phone as well so if he is unsettled or anything is the matter they can can get in touch with you easily. We are returning again this year but he will be old enough for the kids club so that will save us some money.
You had to reserve a place for the creche last year so when you get there book up all the spaces you are going to want to put him in. If you decide not to let him go on one day just let the staff know and they are ok about it.
Hope you have a great time
Clare
Hi. Have just spoken to Travel Agent regarding booking up for Pegasos Palace. She has warned us that there is building work going on next door!!!
Its of no bother according to FC as the turkish are not allowed to work in the tourist months, and also some reports of people been so far its not a nusience.................. hopefully!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Nonnielane,
Hi Suestu21, regarding the building works next door, dont worry the Turkish law states that no building works can be carried out in tourist season they wont start work on it again till November. This must be true because weve just come back and you could see it from our landing and there wasnt any activity at all in the fortnight we were there.

Did you pre book in uk before you went? Im not sure wether to do this or wait til i get there? I dont want to really pre book say 5 sessions incase he hates it but also dont want to miss out.
When you say pre book the sessions you want.....do you mean i can book for the diff days and times i want as soon as we get there? Or is it like kids club you have to book specific sessions on a daily basis?
Hope that makes sense
Vicky
Hi Vicky, at your welcome meeting on your first day, which is just out side the restaurant you cant miss it, they have all the different tables laid out with all the different activities that you can sign up to throughout the hol, its worth just registering the kids for all the activities and getting your signing in cards on the first day, if the kids like mine decide not to bother with the clubs then you havent lost anything, mine were just happy with all the other activities that went off through the day. They did the usual paying things like kids do, soccer school and high ropes and all that sort of thing but as for the rest there was just too much to do we hardly so them all holiday.
What age are the highropes for?
My son would love that but he is only 5.
I am pre booking soccerschool before we come.....how many days would you recommend? Its says 2 3 or 4 in the brochure.
Do you book the particular times and sessions for the kids clubs on a daily basis though.
Did you use the creche that Clare was talking about? My other son is only a baby he will have just turned 1 when we come.
Thanks Vicky
