Hi Debbie
Just read your reviews, sounds fantastic and really glad we changed from the Kos Beach club.
Sorry to hear about your daughter, it does sound like she was well looked after.
The entertainment in the evening, the seating arrangements had a little stick in older posts, is it still uncomfortable and is there a bar close byu so you have not got far to walk for a drink?
I read also that a bar was going to be set up by the beach, was this in place when you went?
Thanks in advance
Hi Mcfester, I would not worry about a beach bar as the beach is not worth going to, we went last August and had a great time, the only complaint was the lack of night time entertainment, we had about 4 good nights out of the 14, but looks that FC have sorted this out, the pools are fantastic, let me give you some advise if you are polite to the bar men after a few nights they will give you large measures of vodka or gin, last year their was alot of very rude and unruly people their, and alot of people where complaining just to get compo, we only paid £1800for 3 adults and 1 child, so i dont know what people expect for that, i think now the Iberostar chain has taken over it will just get better and better, if the beach was better and it was closer to a main town i would go again.
It is a shame about the yobs, it is a family hotel and it sounds liek the parents were worst than the teenages! Hopefully they will be more strickt this year and remind them it isnt a club 18-30 holiday!
Cheers
Hi, glad to hear that everyone out there are having a great time. Having book early last year was really worried about going but cant't wait to go on the 3rd July.
Also got to mention, Anne and Rob who were out there at the same time as us CONGRATULATIONS I do believe or so my sister told me while I was locked away in my ivory tower they got engaged, may you both have a long and happy life together, to a very nice couple.

Hi
My wife has had turkish baths before but she was quite shocked at the 'personal touches' she received at the PP sauna. Not one for the faint hearted, but it depends on what you put up with. Saying that, she will probably have another in July

BRILLIANTT!!!!!!!!!!
The weather was great, apart from the first morning when it rained but it was still warm and didn't stop my boyfriend from gettin in the pool on his own. I also found the evenings really warm and brought a whole suitcase full of unneeded jackets, sweeters and jeans home. I only wish I'd left these at home, then I could of filled this case with all the great bargins you could buy, not on the complex though we found these shops quite expensive compared to those in saregerme town/sunday market, and marmaris. the complex itself was paradise, spotlessly clean, and unbeliveably quite during the evenings/early morning the only down side was the beach but we found one 100 times nicer about 30mins walk away or 10mins on the dolmus (local bus) we had to pay 2 lira to access this beach but it was well worth it as there was also a small nature reserve and playgroud here. The food absolutley fantastic, even for my fussy kids and boyfriend we also ate at the italian and asian which were great, and the fresh pizza and tuna melts at the snack bar were the best.
We were well prepared for the mozzies and I only got bit on the last couple of night cause I didn't but the repelent on thinking there wasn't a problem, hardly even noticed the building works no noise at all. As for the tropical side being closed (which was my biggest worry) you could still walk around there all the pools were full of water, but no one was in them cause they were not being filltered? (my boyfriend said), but in my opinion we weren't missing out on much as there was more than enough to do on the tropical side, we walked around the spa gardens and took some pics and a couple of couples were getting married there.
Any way hope thats enough for now feel free to PM me with any questions
sarah
Thanks for a great review Sarah,
We go in 3 weeks and looking at the fantastic reviews we are looking forward to it, anybody that has just come home, could you please answer the following questions, sorry if they have been asked before.
Can you cash travellers cheques easily in the hotel ?
Are ice creams on all inclusive ( We have 3 year old twins )
Is it easy to book the swim kid's, or is it best to book in advance?
Can't wait for a good rest ( 6 year old and twins, unlikely ) but just nice to get some sun.
H I Mcfester, I t was not just teenagers, most of the problems was with adults swearing at Chefs, Barmen, etc, i have never been ashamed to be british, but god knows what the Turkish people throught about us at that hotel last year, i heard that alot of people whare that rude that some of the staff their walked out through us british, i have been to a Iberostar hotel before and they do not stand for anyone bieng unruly, anyway just enjoy yourself.
Hi, we were booked to travel to the Kos beach club in July but having seen all the agro on the forum we rang First Choice and are now booked for the Pegasus Palace and having seen all your feedback, we cannot wait. Anyone else going around the 10th August? We are going with 2 kids aged 2 and 5 and now its all booked we are really excited - especially as the reviews seem really good.
Even if the hotel is ready for the 1st July, they will have many problems getting all the staff to cope with the guests and will end up having loads of complaints in the same manner as this hotel last year!
I think Kos will be great next year but not this unfortunetly, we was due to go but now we are also going to PP and reading the great reviews, we cant wait.
We did not have travellers cheaque but on a letter they gave us in our room it states that there is a money exchange at the reception.
A selection of different flavour icecream was available at the buffet, lunch and dinner time, although you could not take this out of the restaurant it was available in cones at the beach bar (next to the beach) 10:00 - 17:00
Our kids did not go to swim kids but I'm sure you could sign up there, but it wasn't that busy so mabey it's best to check
Hope this helps
Sarah
the weather in oct is still very hot in the day but cool at night so take a jacket, also we went on the 17th oct last year and the pools are very cold
To all those still to go when I said I would put a review on the hotel reviews, I have done that and on the resort reports but being a bit physically challenged I put it on the Tropical and not the Pegasos and I cant be bothered to go through it all again so appologise again but you will find it just not under Pegasos. Thanks Samantha for pointing that one out.
Katy, are you trying to put us all off? I am going a week tomorrow and I am trying to look forward to it. But you obviously hated every minute of it?
Let us all form an opinion on our returns, sorry your holiday was so bad though.
SamanthaJ
No I am not trying to put you off...if you read my post properly you will see that it was my opinion from LAST YEAR...you will also see that I was only praising up the person who made the ruling about not getting too many drinks at once, hence making YOUR holiday this year a better one for all who is going....
Katy xx
Its really quiet on here im still keeping an eye on this one and the Kos ABC and they are putting us to shame, has everyone lost the excitment about going to this wonderful place, im already pricing up (to my hubbies horror) for next year although its coming up alot more expensive than this year thats probably due to the fact that Iberostar have moved in and sorted it out. Get excited you lot that are still to go because you are going to have the time of your life.
Please please could someone finally close this matter and state what is included.
