Try Mustafa's new website, it has lots of info about the area the hotel is in and some photos:

Have just got back from 2 weeks stay at the Palace. Had a wonderful time. Husband, I and 13 year old daughter had Select room. If you want any info I will try and help out but should say that daughter didn't bother with the kids clubs so wont know much about that.
We tried the Asian, Turkish and Italian restaurants. I had a Turkish massage on my first day and we went on the First Choice Eco adventage (Jeep safari). Also visited the market. Mostly just stayed around the pools, so any info the anyone wants, please feel free to ask and I will try to help.
If you are going, you will have a great time.
When tipping cleaners & Bell boys, how much should you give? The lowest notes I have is 10 lira, which is just over £3, it that too much?
could someone who,s been be able to tell me if they have tia maria or turkish equivalent on the all inclusive drinks. we are due to fly out on 24th aug and i like to have a few tias when im away. would just like to know so that if they don,t i can buy some from duty free on my way out.
Mcfester: would take pound coins, £1 for ok and £2 for good but if I was you hold fire until you settle on one bar/restaurant where their is one waiter or bar staff then tip these, you will be amazed how the level or service changes, i know ours did.
Chris, take sterling nothing else, you can pick up some Lira in one of the mini Markets in Sarigerme and beleive me you get a fantastic rate, while i was their uk rate was 2.62 and i got 3.1 to the pound. sunday market at Sergerme is fantastic but again £1 £5 and £10 are the things to take. Food was brill, we were stuffed everynight because we were having a small bit of everything as it was all good, daytime snacks/lunch, fresh Pizza, lamb/chicken kebab/hamburgers/hotdogs/toasties/melts/jacket potatoes/ as well as a buffet of a lunch time. The only time the food was a let down was the bookable restuarants, Italian was pathetic zero tase to anything the Asian was OK (spring rolls were best) and the Turkish was better in the Buffet on a Saturday night, trust me you will not go Hungry. Trips we went on were mudbaths and 12 island, I booked at sarigermetours with Mustafa after reading good reviews on here, both of these trips were fantastic we have 2 kids 12 and 10 and they loved both of them, plus they were half the price of First choice and they didnt cram you in either like first choice. Do not believe the sales speel that you get in the welcome meeting as all tour operators must be insured under Turkish law. Hangers, take some we did there were the usual 10 in the wardrobes.
Keith. the only childrens cocktail we had or seen anyone having was after the Asian meal when they brought the adults a liquor Coffee and thekids a green and orange cocktail.
Mcfester: their are signs up that you can't take food out of the restaurants but no one seemed to mind.
have a fab time all
Carl
The late buffet was just left overs from dinner in the tropical side and i did not notice any tia maria equivant, just schnappes in peach or bananna, and the usual vodka etc!! Wine is really strong, i had 2 mix with lemonade as did a lot of other people!!
Hi am off on 18/9 to pp,have booked a late check out room as return flight is not till about 3 or 4am can anybody tell me what time is "late checkout" please
6pm I think and then you can pay another £60 to £80 to have it until 10pm. Rip off big time but we are glad we booked it as others have complained about waiting round for 12 hours!
Hi di you go back to the PP this year?? Im guessing you will be home now. How did it compare to last year, would be really interested to know.
Hope you and the girls are all OK.
Sue David and girls (from Peterborough)
PS We are just back from Turkey too, had the best hols ever. Although we enjoyed PP, this holiday was 100% better in comparision.
Roll on 2007!!
Another £60-£80 on top of the extra i`ve paid allready, ure right what a rip off,god am so in the wrong job
we had our late check out room upto 10pm at no extra charge then we sat in the bar area until we left. We 've got 3 kids and at the time they were 7,3 & 1 and we found it no trouble at all
I'l mention that when I a making a complaint regarding a certain reps attitude, a lot of people are complaining about her, she obviously did not have a clue or care how grumpy young children can get when tired. My 3 yr old had 2 end up sleeping on a sunbed beside the bar whilst waiting as he did not get his usual 5pm-7pm holiday nap. I will not be booking with first choice again, just due to the customer service!
hi susein,i spoke to u last year just before we went to pp.just read your post did u mean you went pp this year if so was it better than last year
No we didnt go to PP this year. Just got back from Olu Deniz, which was 100% better in comparison. We loved it there, and although we had a good time at Pegasos, we found the Belcekiz beach in Olu, much much better, and the resort is bigger, much friendlier, and CHEAPER!!
Only 1 ronaldo was going back the 1st 2 weeks of July, so it was him I was asking after, i would be interested to see how he found it in comparison to last year, he was there the same time as us in 2005.
did u go anywhere this year yet?
WE GO NEXT FRIDAY TO MENORCA (PICKED BY OUR FRIENDS)AS TURKEY WAS TO HOT FOR THEM LAST YEAR WE HAVE LOOKED AT THE BELCEKIZ AND IT LOOKS BRILL BUT IT ONLY SLEEPS 3
we have a 2 year old who only has fruit juice, water or squash, she does not like fizzy, just wondering what she will be able to drink.
also what was the sunbed situation like at the tropical, we have a week booked in September.
Thanks
Emmax
I will also be interested in knowing about the juices being included, want to make sure I can douse that local vodka with some nice cold pure orange juice!
There was always available sunbeds, though the good ones went early by peolple leaving towels then not showing till 12 onwards really annoying!!
Hi all I hope someone can help, we're off to the Palace in 3 weeks for a well deserved break but we've got a 2 year old with us and wondered if there was a nearby shop to buy nappies from as 2 weeks worth of nappies takes up a lot of space in a suitcase !!!
2 years old and you still need nappies? Take the time to potty train and use the extra weight for a potty
