did you put in the web reference that you were given and did you go to retrieve/modify form?
I hope my best mate appreciates what I have to go through so I can force her to go to Goa yet again
Thanks Squigs, the race is on
EXCELLENT!!!
PS Yes I will remember to get her to sign the form before I post it off, even though its my day off I will go into work and shove it under her writing hand
One more thing Jettii, have you got the photographs?????
Might have
All done and sent, checked and rechecked that it was all there, the lady in the post office checked again so now I will wait and see how long it takes Birmingham to send them back and then we can start looking forward to
i sent off four visa forms yesterday after taking me four hours to fill in,only thing is i sent them to london then found out that i should of sent them to birmingham,do you think they will be accepted,i hope so
xx
I understand they are being quite strict about it but have my fingers crossed for you
i just checked up on the visa site to track our visa,it says processed applications have been sent to royal mail for delivery, which means they will be in our hands by 1pm tomoro,so fingers crossed sending them to london hasnt been a problem
we shall find out tomoro when i open the envelope and check if the visa is in it,otherwise i will have to resend them to birmingham
Just wondering guy's, with all this uncertainty over the time taken to actually receive visas after making a postal application, has anybody used one of the independent Visa Agencies.....Regards Barney
Just a question for those people who have gone in person to VFS.When you filled out your online application and requested an appointment. When did they give you an appointment for,as we are still in India and don't want to fill it in too early just in case.
We asked for an appointment for the Victoria place and were given one at 9 in the morning...there was no choice of date or time...you can cancel if it is not suitable and try again later. I think they give you the next available one when you ask. Appointments start at 8.30 and they come out and call you in first if you have one. Hope this helps a little.
ok,thanks for that.
When I did it via Victoria it allowed me to pick the day I wanted - a calendar appeared giving days available, and then I just took a chance on the time. I got 9.30 am, arrived 9 am and was out by 9.05 am.
That sounds alot better,i'll see what happens when i apply for Birmingham
our passports came back yesterday all sorted,so after all the panic getting our visas turned out to be alot easier than i thought it would be,posted them monday got them back saturday
now the count down begins
7 weeks to go go goa
This new system worked a treat for us filled in the online forms (it took ages) and sent our passports off last monday and we had them back by Friday, so relived as always a bit nervous about posting my passport away but back safe and sound!!
Just wondered if any one knew how far in advance in London, you can book an appointment to obtain your Indian Tourist Visa, I will be taking mine to London and then collecting it, 3 - 4 days later, I have contacted them, they could not answer me, I want to process application on line, and then try and get appointment around 2nd week in November as flying out end of November, also flying out again end of March beginning of April, and was trying not to have to pay for 2 visas,
