Are all the Restaurants on the complex included in the AI option?, people have recommended the Med restaurant which you have to book for , does that cost extra?
Whats the local wine like(dry white)? thats included in the AI/
All the restaurants are AI. We visited both the Chinese & the Med while we were there. As my kids made friends they were booking & going there together as a group (they are 16 & 12) & were always made welcome. They would usually book that day.
While we were there in August there were a large number of girls & lads from 12 up to 17 who in the main all got on well over the 2 weeks. They are still in touch with loads of them & we have loads of photos of tearful goodbyes
Good to hear there were lots of teens there - I'm hoping there are plenty of teens there when we go at Easter, my two will be 17 and 14 and when we stayed in a 'family' place in Lanzarote last year they were bored to tears because it was all under 12s. Did your kids join in the teens club (I think it's called Wavelength or something)? As my kids made friends they were booking & going there together as a group (they are 16 & 12).... Good to hear another good report coming in! Hopefully all the problems from August have now been sorted out, and First Choice and the hotel management have learnt a valuable lesson from it alljust got back from caleta dorada, was in c block, and swam in the c pool every day with my three children, luckily for us we were all fine... had a fantastic holiday, kids had a wonderful time, kids clubs are great...
My 13 year old son went to the wavelength club, he had never went on any other holiday we had...
he loved it he made lots of friends, they have playstation buzz and singstar competitions, they also went out to bowling then to mcDonalds for something to eat,
i never seen him, they had things on all the time
Spurry how old is your son???
My son is 9 and my daughter is 15, she's ok because she is meeting up with friends she made last year, but my son will hopefully make friends around the pool otherwise i'll be dragged into all sorts of swimming/diving games

Have just booked to go here in may next year , we will be travelling with our son of 2 we figured as long as there were pools he would be fine but have only just checked the reviews...some mixed feelings i see . Just wondered if anyone had been there recently? We had a awful holiday this year as were due to go to Kos Aqua Beach and due to its problems ended up at Kiotari Bay in Rhodes which was like a building site!! So could do with a decent holiday!
Thanks in advance
Lou
We arrived at this hotel Saturday after 2 hour delay at Gatwick.
The complex is huge and all earlier problems have been resolved!
The weather is hot hot hot so anyone coming soon bring plenty of sun cream.
Were having a great time anyone coming soon will see you at the bar!!

Glad you're having a great time, check out the Dry white wine for me(if you get the chance) looking forward to hearing more good reports , i'm off in 17 days 22 hours, 45 minutes (and counting each minute)
Lucky you! We've got 6 months to wait yet We've only been back from Turkey for a few weeks, but I'm really looking forward to Fuerteventura, having only seen the place on a day trip before. Could anyone tell me how often the mini-train runs from the Caleta Dorada to the beach? And are there any boat trips (catamaran, glass bottom boat etc) going from Caleta harbour?i'm off in 17 days 22 hours, 45 minutes (and counting each minute)

Yes there are lots of different trips that you can do at the harbour. We done snorkelling, my 6yr old son loved it. You can go out on the glass bottom boat, catamaran. You can also hire jetski's, pedalo's etc there. They are very helpful there.
How often does the mini-train run from the Caleta Dorada down to the beach?
I am sure that the train went about once an hour. We did not use the train on our stay as we walked - took about 5 minutes down & 15 back!! taking it easy in the heat of August
As i remember it ,the train ran every 1/2 hour to and from town, it stops right outside the caletta reception and carrys on down to the Harbour
hi it train runs from just out side netto and out side the shope near pool side c and from netto it comes at bout 10 past the hour not sure bout near the little shop as always got on it at netto but that is the stop just befor netto and you can hear him ring his little bell. ohhh i so want to be back there :rage[
Looking forward to the holiday now, starting to plan days out and stuff, even though we've got 6 months to go yet I've booked a Kids Den apartment and I had a letter from FC a while ago to say the Kids Dens don't all have bunk beds, some of them are 'cabin-bed' types - does anyone know if any of the Kids Dens have bunk beds at all? I may email the complex to request bunk beds specifically if they are still available, my kids are teenagers, and safety (falling out of bed etc) isn't an issue, and having bunk beds will probably give more space in the room.
we didnt have bunk beds in the kids den but the bed we had was great it was a high up bed and the 2nd bed slides under the other bed so there is plenty of room we even put the single bed from in th room in there as well so in the day the other bed went underneth and there was loads of room with the camp bed type bed in there to
