The bungalows in the grounds are very pretty but can be a long way from the bars eateries etc. Its not the distance but the actual gradient you have to climb that caught us out, it was so steep. If you get chance ask for a room in J block, they were not as high up as some.
As for the rest of Letoonia, well it was out of this world!!!
Have fun, if you need any more info pm me.

Many thanks to Becky 67 & Joanne Ruddock for your very informative details on Club Leetonia. It all sounds really fantastic and we are so looking forward to our holiday. We are travelling on 14 July a party of eight - 4 adults and 4 children (2 girls age 14 & 2 boys age11)
We have just a few trivial questions if you could help we would really appreciate

∙ Is there the mad rush in the morning for sun beds and parasols
∙ How far are the apartments from the restaurants and bars
∙ Is it easy to get change from the reception for the snooker and other game machines
∙ Is there internet access for our girls(need to chat to boyfriends & chums at home)
∙Is there a shop on site for papers (we need to keep up with Big Brother)
∙ Are the queues bad at the bars for drink
∙ Is there a supplement for branded alcohol
∙Do they serve Port
∙ Does the romantic fish restaurant serve a meat dish (hubbies don't like fish)
∙Is there a slight breeze during the day or should we prepare to bake in the sun

I know there are pathetic questions however it just makes it easier once we arrive.
Many thanks to anyone who can help

No rush for sunbeds - certainly not in May - plenty around the prom and beaches and pools. Can also use hammocks in the gardens close to the beaches.
It will depend were you are located but there are many bars & restaurants scattered around the complex.
Not sure about change for the games machines and pool/snooker - located under pool at the agora.
There was internet access but there was only a couple of terminals and they always appeared busy.
There is a shop on site but papers one day behind.
No problem with queues at bars, seemed to be plenty of staff, but was slightly out of season - late May.
No supplements for barnded drinks but you must ask for them.
Didn't see any port being drunk
Fish restaurant serves just fish :!: Beautifully set on the beach - reserve for later - torches lit in the water.
Weather will be weather - you can get a breeze shooting down the water slides!
Any other questions just pm me

 Hi, the snooker tables were free to use and there was also air hockey and a football game if I remember rightly though I'm not sure if they were free. The internet access was free because I sent an email home and didn't have to pay anything I also checked the weather forecast while I was there.
Though you can't go on the chat rooms or play games which is fair enough.
Not sure about the port they did have Archers, Malibu and Baileys etc which is what I drink. The fish restaurant won't be suitable for you husband you start with a meze of turkish starters didn't know what we were eating but it was all very nice, then it was followed by Grilled prawns and calamari, then the main course was seabass with veg and salad. It was all very nice and severd at your table. The turkish restaurant was similar but served Kebabs etc so your husband would enjoy that.
I think I've answered any question that Becky has not already answered you'll have a great time we couldn't fault it.
Bye Joanne

Hi we are going to Letoonia on thurs (14th July ) we are a party on 7, 4 adults and 3 children, really looking forward to it. Although have been a bit concerned that there have been a few not so good reviews coming back this week, we booked this hotel mainly because of the fantastic reviews, but then some people will moan about anything. I am sure it will be great !

Having been to Hotel and Club Letoonia in Fethiye (June 2003), we have now booked again for June 2006. We have since sampled the Dom Rep and the Pegasos Palace in Sarigerme and although we had a good time in each instance, neither has compared to Letoonia for its sheer brilliance.
This will be the first time we have retuned to a hotel for a second time and it is my understanding that some of the Club rooms are to be refurbed, and that a shuttle courtesy bus has been introduced. Does any one know if this is true? Has anyone stayed in the Hotel itself rather than the Club rooms?
I guess i'm just curious as to what, or if any changes have taken place.
Many thanks.

Hi, We stayed at the club Letoonia in May and had a fantastic time, I can confirm that there is now a shuttle train going from recepetion to were ever you need dropping of, you do have to be careful as you are walking along as he can come along at quite a speed (great fun when you are on it).As for the villas being refurbished the only thing I would say is that they have had a coat of paint as you could still smell it when we arrived.
We found the roooms quite acceptable and clean with a nice bathroom. The only downside was the trees block out quite alot of light making the rooms a bit dark. I don't think the English tour operators use the hotel as someone told me it doesn't come up to british health and safety standards but don't quote me on that. We actually had a villa near to the moonlight restaurant which was in block T and found there was'nt to many steps to climb we had requested a low block for the 10 of us that went and we more or less got what was requested.
Are friend who had never been to Turkey before have booked for next year as they said they preferred it to the Dominican Republic .
Hope you enjoy your'e stay there again.

The bungalow rooms we stayed in were fine.
Whilst waiting for the return pick-up, we asked to see the hotel rooms by way of comparison (and for future bookings). They looked nice enough but not that nice (IMO) to warrant the extra cost BUT we were told that the hotel was coming down to comply with EU regulations - not Turkish regs - because the structure was mainly timber framed and a fire hazard.
Don't know how true it was as the hotel seemed fine.

ive just booked letoonia in fethiye for a week in oct and reading most of the reviews they are very good, the odd person has said some rooms have about 200 steps to climb with a young child in tow no way can i cope with that, anyone that has stayed there is there certain rooms or areas i can request that will help me avoid all these steps, i obviously am expected some but not nearly 200

it also states local and international brands are included does this include most drinks ie archers etc or does it mean the usual vodka, whisky etc in local and international brands , any advise would be appreciated thanks

i know it took long enough, but i had a brain storm the other day and remembered i had some air miles to use up so i contacted them and they only use the main t o so that limited it a lot anyway they use somewhere2stay which is part of cosmos and this hotel came out a 111 less with my airmiles so i only paid 400 for the 3 of us for the week which is brilliant as i think standards of food will be on par with lykia and all the international brands are free whaooo, so baileys and archers here i come, in the end it was worth it, i will still go to olu deniz for the day, also my mother lives in marmaris which is slightly nearer and they have a yacht which they might be able to sail to letoonia as letoonia its own marina if private yachts are allowed to stay there so that might work out well, ive had someone email me and give me some great info and said hotel is great so im well pleased

have you had a look at it lyn, where are you up to now with hols booked, ive got 3 now , this fri being my next cant wait

Yep - Ive only ever heard good things about Latoonia :D .I have looked at it but again worried about the slight isolation. but i think its pretty close to Fethyie isnt it Karen?

Yes We have a few things booked Karen, but im getting seriously worried about how im gonna pay for them all without my hubby working 7 days a week. :( which i darnt tell him he needs to do. I really have been a bit stupid and impulsive :( . in 3 weeks time We are going to the pyranees for a week to stay with my sister in law, we come back on a friday and then off to a cottage in cornwall for another week :D . We have a weekend booked at sandy-balls in the new forest for October, then 10 days flights booked for Egypt next Easter but i havnt booked the hotel yet. then we have 2 weeks booked at the Belcekiz beach booked for next July. Hoping to squeeze another weekend in their around christmas for hubby and me , thinking about salzburg or maybe back to prague or try krakow , either of those two would be a cheaper option. :D

sorry gone a bit off topic there.

ive been to salzburg and prague both are gorgeous and was in warsaw last month that was nice

letoonia is slightly isolated but there is a free water taxi to fethiye each day i believe and as its only a week that will be fine, i agree about been in middle of no where i also like to go out and about so we will still do this, can get taxis and dolmuses too, i dont think i would have booked it for 2 weeks though

my friend goes to egypt a lot and does diy and uses this company for the hotel as she says they are the cheapest for egypt

Hi there

My husband and I (gosh I sound like the queen :!: ) stayed in letoonia last june. I booked it as a surprise for him. The hotel is beautiful but very stretched out, in the extreme heat it can make walking around a bit tiring.
The alcohol selection is very good, I didnt try archers but did have baileys, you need to specify when asking for spirits such as vodka i.e smirnoff as otherwise you would get local branded drink. :yuck
the selection of pools and beaches is amazing. the room beautiful and quite spacious, the only down side is the climb up the steps to the room, it is the only thing that would stop me staying there again as everything else was perfect. the food and the restaurants were great wiith huge selections of really lovely food. All in all it really is probably the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed in. There is a main hotel that is set in the centre, with lifts to the rooms but I think it depends who you go with as to whether you stay there or not. we went with first choice.
If you need any further info please feel free to message me.
have a wonderful time :ghug la x
