Hi, You would have to across to Fethiye on the ferry or by cab as the complex is isolated. We went a couple of years ago when the FA cup was on and there were plenty of bars showing the footie in the main town but none at the Hotel complex.

The night entertainment is a bit cheesy but it varies. You will see the same entertainment on the 2nd week though. I'm not sure what the night life is like in fethiye, it didn't look as though it was a place full of jumping pubs to be honest. Maybe Hisanaru (oops spelling!) would be much better. That would be further to travel though. We watched the entertainment maybe 3 times in 2 weeks at the most. There is a night club but not sure how good it is (too drunk by that time!).

As for restaurants, the best ones are the sushi restaurant and theres a fish restaurant on the beach. That is really good. Both of these you have to book in advance, best bet is to have a look around the place on the first day but book these asap as there's limited availability and they get booked up early.

heh up wooltonian we share the same birthday dont ask my age though dread every birthday now grrrr

we thought some of the entertainment was very rude especially for young kids ,my daughter was 6 and sometimes i was shocked by what they came out with next, so we didnt go to every show, we enjoyed the weekly carnival with belly dancers and the big cake, ive listed quite a few photos on the gallery. we went to letoonia in oct last year and a lot of the specialist restaurants had closed down which was a shame

Can someone give me a hint on whats best for spare cash.
Sterling, Sterling travellers, Euro's or T Lira
Does the hotel change Travellers cheques / cash ?
Where is the nearest "Hole in the wall" if required ?
Am I best taking some Lira from here or wait til I get there ?
All tips appreciated

Read it earlier mate, couldn't find anything regarding my hotel facilities or the local area , was hoping someone would give me local info rather than Istanbul or Icmar marmaris etc

I'll be taking a small amount of turkish lira, maybe £100 pounds worth (airport money and spare change really) Then I take sterling travellers cheques. The hotel do change the travellers cheques. They won't change lira back to english though. The nearest 'hole in the wall' is in Fethiye, not sure what it is though as I never used it.

The shop at Letoonia will accept sterling and lira if I remember rightly, saying that all I was buying was the odd newspaper :D
