Thought it might be handy to have a map posted here.
We landed around 10:30 pm in Turkey after 4 and 1/2 hours flight without any hitch's and transfered via coach to the town of Fethiye, were we were told that this was the last stop and that we had to take a taxi to the Resort of Club Letoonia, a little disgruntelled that we were n't made aware earlier. Quite relieved that there was a group of us, we all got off the bus together at the taxi rank and we got 3 taxi's to the resort costing approx £15 per taxi and taking just 10 minutes

Is this up to date information or are all transfers now direct to Hotel ?
Think I'll get pretty annoyed if someone drops me off 10 mins away.
we were dropped off at hotel. We had a private transfer though. Who are you travelling with? Denny
When we went to Lykia with First Choice, our coach dropped off people for Letoonia somewhere around Fethiye and there was a minibus waiting to take them on separately.
Hisaronu isn't too far away, and its defvinately worth going. I wouldn't get a taxi from there to Letoonia though
I wouldn't get a taxi from there to Letoonia though
If we went there to watch football we would have no other choice as game will not finish until after midnight (Turkish time)
You can haggle for taxi prices as well. There are always a couple of taxis near reception, ask them how much to pick you up from Hisanoru. They will give you a ggod price. Denny
We might pop over fethiye on the tuesday, we can show you where the taxi rank is, where the bars are and where the dolmus station is The only thing is we may have to stop and sample some of the bars (which I'm sure you'll enjoy) on our little tour to make sure they're suitable, plus to get out of the heat
Sounds good,
Game on ITV 1
At least now I'll be able to enjoy my holiday without worrying about a game

Well, its sooooo close now!, Next week at this time I'll be drinking free Efe's!!!!. Only got tuesday and wednesday nightshift left then I'm off
Arrive in Turkey at 7pm Turk' Time, expect to be sat at the bar around 9-10pm. I hope we can still get a bite to eat. We will probably be starving
Plenty to eat at that time. All night lobby bar has sandwiches, cake etc etc. And snack bar by the amphi-theatre had soup, spaghetti and sauce etc 11pm - midnight. Effes is excellent there. Branded drinks as well, but you will need to ask for them as they keep them under the counter. !!
About Cash. Not worried mate if we bring home money, would rather have it than not.
Might treat myself to a trip to Rhodes. 60 euro return according to reports.
whats the craic getting to Hisonaru ?
and more important how did you get back home as the Dolmus stops at 12 I've heard
Any trips you would recommend ?
To get back to Letoonia we got dolmus from Hisonaru to Fethiye and then taxi to Letoonia. Not sure what time dolmus stops running I thought it was midnight but hubby says it was later - as we watched football and then had a meal, went to a few bars etc. When we got back to Fethiye it was very quiet so it must of been quite late. Ask some of the waiters or entertainment staff what time dolmus stops, they will know 'cos they all go there on their nights off. Didn't do any trips apart from Olu and Hisonaru, as we didn't want to leave Letoonia too much, as it was wonderful. Denny
So close now I can taste the Efes
Will post reveiw within a week of returning
Simon and Anna have gone awful quiet the last few days, I wonder whether they are having the same rows as Lynn and I over packing space.
Karl
I think I have most of my stuff ready now just haven't put it in the case yet!. I may watch the Letoonia DVD again this afternoon
I'm counting down again!!! only 87 days to go
I know things get quieter as it is the end of season but it is half term in england so hopefully it will be busy.
Also are the drings served by waiter/waitress service or do i have to get off my lazy behind and go to the bars.
Thanks
we went in oct and the a la carte restaurants were mostly closed, but the food in the main restaurant was good, we did have to go to the bar to get our drinks, best drinks ive had on an all inc, as i dont really drink much but it was lovely having archers and baileys included, on a few nights they had mulled wine and it was gorgeous, this was set up outside the ampitheatre. have a great holiday we really enjoyed our holiday there
