Well, the food is good and theres lots of it :D . Are you planning a trip to olu deniz or hisanaru?

To be honest it takes quite a bit to get me off my sunbed.
Trips to ancient sites, church's and carpet factories come low on my "must do's"

Ancient ruins and historical stuff is not our idea of fun!!!! we like beer, pubs, food!!!!!. Hisanaru and Olu Deniz are definately worth visiting. They are a short trip away on the dolmus (maybe £1 each or so!) Hisanaru is full of pubs restaurants and shops (my first stop for a few bevvies). Then Olu is the same only it has an amazing beach that you need to see!.

Footy..... mmmnnnn 18th, thats cutting it fine to find a good spot to watch!. Letoonia didn't have any big screens on so you'd have to venture out to fethiye, if not Hisanaru would be the place to go. What time is the match on?

8 working days for me!!!! or six after the weekend

Just got back from the letoonia and feel a bit sad  as the holiday went quick!

It`s still the fantastic place i remember from a couple of years ago. Still the 24/7 staff working to keep the resort clean, watered and all entertained.

The place is massive and used the three waterslides, tennis courts, a la carte resturants, gym, sauna and free water non motorised sports for the first time.

Did not spend any money except a few tips, 12 island boat tour and Fethiye`s tues market.

Plenty of good food at the buffet resturants i.e Lykia and moonlight washed down with plenty of quality not watered down drinks sorry i lied it was so hot the ice cubes melted if you left the drink for more than 5 minutes :D

Already booked up for next year!

Have a good one!!!

We stopped in the Letoonia a couple of years ago and loved the place. You will able to take a boat which is free across to fethiye and there are loads of trips to bookby the harbour. A real must is the mud baths and the Daylan river 8 of us when and we had a scream. There are also some good boat trips available on being the 12 islands which is good.
You will be able to watch footie in some of the bars in Fethiye as there is nothing at the hotel. The only way out of the hotel is by the boat or taxi as no buses run near by and it is quite a distance from anyware. But the complex is so large you won't feel confind.
Have a great time.

Be early for the 1st free water taxi (8.30am) to fethiye on tuesday as the boat was full! in which a quite a few guests were turned away, We returned back to hotel at 10.50am and the cue was massive!

Be early!!!!!

If I remember rightly the rooms have a hairdryer but I don't think that they had a kettle or iron. Obviously they have a TV and mini fridge (only stocked on arrival though so pick up some beers from fethiye so you can have a few on the balcony!).

For the footy I would imagine the closest place would be fethiye, you could get the last free boat over at around 6:30pm (best check that though!) and get a cab back, maybe £10 or so I would think. My choice would be Hisanaru but thats further away.

We were at Club Letoonia last year when the world cup was on, they did show a few matches in the wine house, but it was very stuffy in there, also they only had beer at the bar (no soft drinks or indeed wine!!) so we went to Hisonaru to watch a few matches. Dead easy, just got last boat over to Fethiye (7.30 if I remember correctly,) then a dolmus to Hisonaru. Coming back got dolmus to Fethiye and then taxi back to Letoonia.(Not very expensive). They show football at loads of bars - the Turks are football mad. Plus it was an excellent change to go into Hisonaru for the night.

I was thinking Hisaranu would be the way forward as it loks like it would be a great place on the night time!. What time do the Dolmus's run until?
