If anyone has stayed here recently can you please tell me if the building of the new block of superior rooms has been completed? I have booked to go at the end of March and I am concerned that they won't be ready in time.
Many thanks!
Why not email The Conrad direct and ask them. I contacted them couple of times before I went away always had a quick response.
Put it FAO Mr Waleed Bahgat sharmelsheikinfo@conradhotels.com

Great thanks very much!
Just to let you know I have uploaded my pics of the The Conrad on the photo gallery thanks to the advice of Mrs Mac.
Some have captions but I uploaded some without, a (HT Allmen)moderator is helping out with those. These are very recent pics hope they are of help.

I'm going to the Conrad in september, for the 2nd time. we're thinking of booking through eclipse rather than first choice, as its much cheaper. has anyone done this? will we have any different service? is it safe to book online? Also, has anyone parked their car at gatwick while they were away? is that safe?
thanks!!!
Yes I've done it, every time!
You will receive exactly the same service as FC customers from the moment you book, you will deal with the same cabin crew and reps, your holiday will be identical to that of FC customers but (usually) cheaper.
We've booked several holiday online with http://www.eclipsedirect.co.uk and never had any security issues.

We booked through Eclipse and although First Choice left our luggage in London and then failed to give us any help or get our luggage to us until the middle of the last full day, I do not believe we were singled out because we were "Eclipse", I am sure they would have treated everyone the same if they could.
Prices on the Eclipse/First choice website are exceptionally good about 3-4 weeks before departure date, especially from Manchester.I went to the Conrad last Nov/Dec and was given the web price by phoning First Choice direct. If I could have gone 4 days later than I did,the price for 2 people for 2 weeks was £697!
Anybody heading out to the Conrad on 6th July ?
Right oh Altoman dont rub it in !!
not intending to Lee. have you got organised yet? murdo will need to practice his diving skills
cheers
Yes they are building a new pool for the new block. They spent 3 days digging the hole with one of those noisy diggers while we were there in November!.
Booked with first choice but they agreed to match the eclipse online price after seeing eclipse mentioned on here, thanks you saved me £285.
You're going the same two weeks I went last year......you'll come home with a great tan!

Hi, we had our first visit to the Conrad in January and really enjoyed it, so much so that we have booked to return for 2 weeks in September. I was wondering if anyone has been at this time of year, if so did you find it busy, ie restaraunts, sunbeds, bars and even the jetty out to the sea. The Hotel seemed to run very smoothly when we were there in January although i dont think it was fully booked. We found the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Hi has anyone received arrived back from the Conrad who can tell me how they are getting on with the building work?
SORRY!! I meant to type recently arrived back!
We are off to Conrad in 8 days time and I read "Building work"?
Can someone please give me more information as waking up to Bob the builder every morning is not my cup-of-tea!
Cheers
Stephen
