We fly out on Thursday from Manchester too!! There are 8 of us, 2 couples and four friends.....we cant wait... just doing the last of the washing, ironing and packing!!
I believe that there will be two king size beds in the room.... well I hope so, there are four friends sharing one room so I hope they dont have to all share the same bed!!
Also the Conrad website states that there are irons available in the room!

We emailed the conrad a few weeks ago to ask if they had ironing and beach towel facilities. Got an email back saying that they have both, means we will all have lighter cases.

we are a party of 19 going to conrad sharm el sheik on thursday 19th may,we to are on an all inclusive package. Our rooms have been upgraded to kingsize rooms as we are on a honeymoon. We are flying from gatwick at 12.05pm as are flights have been changed.Any info back now would be greatful

When did you find out that they had upgraded your room. We have paid for our daughter's honeymoon and I let Eclipse know that they were on honeymoon but haven't heard anything about an upgrade.

Just a suggestion but i would email the hotel to let them know your daughter is on her honeymoon, when i got married last year i went to America and Hawaii for 3 weeks staying in 3 hotels and was upgraded in all 3 , my best friend is a travel agent and emailed each hotel after she booked them letting them know we were honeymooners but some hotels will give you a upgrade anyway if you look in the brochure it sometimes tells you wheather they do honeymoon specials but i personally would email the hotel yourself.

Someone told me that FC only 25 rooms at a time, looks like we have most of them between us. Hope to see you all there, if not have a great time all.
If you want an upgrarde because someone is on honeymoon, just take your marriage certificate. They might refuse if you don't take proof. Be very surprised if you do not get an upgrade if you have proof.

Only 16 hours until we'll be on our way to the airport!!
It's quite scary considering it was booked over 9 months ago and it's finally here.... 35c on Friday though, don't know how I'll cope :-)

I am going in September and have a slight worry. From what I can make out the drinks are only available from one bar in the evening. Does this count during the day?
I don't much fancy walking miles to get a drink.

No i emailed the hotel and was told drinks were available from the pool bar and beach bar during the day. A HT user is returning from there on the new AI package any day now so im sure he can fill us in properly .
Im eagerly awaiting his return for a full review as so many of us are .

Has anyone read the new review from shirley, not as good as we expected!!!! never mind we always say a holiday is what you make it. We go on thursday and we will make the most of it
