how is the food for kids i have two aged 7 & 11 go in 3 weeks today (not counting) they like most things but chips and burgers always help

The weather forcast for the lucky people off to the Conrad today -
A cool 36c - 96f for a day or two !!
Then 40c - 104f for the forseeable future
Life is a bitch at times eh !!!!

Hi Mrs Mac. Dont forget that if your (kids) dont like the lunch menu. You can ask for a sandwich filling like cheese ect . and they will oblige you. They are really friendly and helpfull. They keep all those things in the fridges out the back. They are not on show lunch time.

Debs, hi there, you have to go in the rest. and ask for the fillings and make the sandwiches yourself. There is nothing to put in them unless you ask a waiter to go and get them from the kitchens. The bread is fresh and make them and take them outside to the poolbar. Get a bear or wine and sit back and enjoy the sun. No food at the pool r beach bar. The beach bar is a joke by the way. Yes by the end of the afternoon drinking all that beer we often felt like a bear!!!!!! . As soon as the glass was empty another one came over. What a great time can be had by the pool bar.

Just returned from the Conrad.
Building work is noisey and some times dust clouds come over pool area,A/I is not working very well,food is repetative,water is hard to get before 10am unless you pay,the beach bar is a joke,they have taken the chairs and parrasols away so its to hot to hang arround.Most people end up with dodgy stomachs at some stage,I think Its a hygiene problem only eat hot food,some of it is only warm.Go to the chemist for tablets cost five pounds,thirty quid off doctor.entertainment is the pits,the two singers should be taken out and flogged for crimes against music.Nice sea front location,Italian restraunt ok,.........must go still need the loo.........

Just when I was starting to look forward to it! I've been hearing a lot about the egypt tummy bug - I'll end being paranoid about eating anything which isn't good when you want to get your moneys worth from all inclusive!Although it's good to have an honest opinion, you sometimes wish if people didn't have anything good to say they shouldn't say it?!

If you look through the various hotel reviews in various countries, you'll see just how people's opinions vary, doesn't mean we'll all have an unpleasant time at the Conrad
About the upset stomach, someone posted recently saying a common cause is drinking very cold liquids........our bowels aren't used to the heat, so when we drink something cold it can cause it to contract

Thanks for your reassurance - I guess i'm just a wee worrier! When you've saved up and worked hard to go a nice relaxing holiday, you just want everything to go to plan!Hopefully it will and we will all have a fantastic holiday

Hi All , Just got back from Conrad at Sharm,
Beautiful beach , sea life unbelieveable, staff friendly, Hotel and rooms kept spotlessly clean and tidy, did not spend much time at the pool so the building work did not worry me could not hear it or see any dust, temp between 38 and 45 degrees, food ok, do not think tummy upset was due to the food, i survived 2 weeks with out one but I know others who were, may be just a change in climate or perhaps using the local money and not washing hands after ? entertainment was not very good but you can aleays go to Nama Bay.
I had a great holiday, just wish I was still there.
