Have you all seen the latest review?

It's another fairly good one :D

As with most reviews so far, the entertainment and location don't score highly, but the snorkelling does and there's the bus to Naama so it hasn't put me off! :D

Great review

Not worried about the lack of entertainement as I'm not used to having this laid on when I'm on holiday anyway. All the stuff that's important to me on a holiday seems to be there at the hotel.

I emailed the hotel to see if they could get a cake for Hubby's birthday on the 9th July and they said it would be complimetary, just let them know what time I want him to get it (the cake that is!!). So if you are there come along and sing happy birthday and get a piece of cake - the more the merrier. :D :D :D

In the email from the hotel this week they also said that they were doing aromatherapy massages on the beach - guess where you'll find me on Friday the 9th !! :P :P :P

Slightly off topic :offtop Sorry. But hubby and brother are keen to get a hot towel shave - aparently they are supposed to be good !?! Does anyone know where they could get one?

Cheers

Hi Guys,

Just another question for all you who have already been..

''Is the evening meal split into set sittings or just eat when you like :hmmm

Hi Gordon, The rest. is open and not two sittings. The best place to sit is the raised area to the left of serving. The sparrows tend to keep away from this area. If you know what l mean!!!!! :x

We had a telephone call from Eclipse regarding the building work. We were told that the Conrad is expanding, they have bought the place next door and are building more rooms. At the time of the phone call, two/three weeks ago, they had got only as far as laying the foundations, so i guess this wouldn't cause too much disruption. If they expect to finish around November then the next couple of months could get worse.

Good to see that latest review and good to see chips now in the all inclusive menu for the kids.

Fonseca.you can change English pounds for egyptian at the front desk or onsight bank, the front desk does not carry much cash and its best you go to the bank early evening,i think he,s got a day job.
you get between 10/11 egyptian to every 1 english pound, slightly better than i got in the uk
Gordon, all meals are buffet style,so no sittings,You may have to book the Italian restaurant, but when i used it,it was always empty.Cost about 40 english pounds for 4 of us including a couple of drinks.Beer and cocktails in the Italian were much better than the A/I option ,

Hi Dog,

Many thanks for the info, referring back to one of your previous posts about the 'belly belly' :yikes

Can you remember if the tablets you got from the Chemist was ''Ciprofloxacin'' - I only ask as there are a few in my party that take other prescription tabs and would like to be clear that they can take them ''if required''

Cheers :glynis

Got back early hours of last Friday morning from the Conrad. 4 in our party - 3 had tummy problems (not me I was fine). Bought a product called Antinal which can be bought from the Pharmacy down by the Baron Hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Conrad. Restaurant Manager, Mahmoud, and all his staff can't do enough for you. I found the food to be fine.

Rooms nice and clean, towels changed twice a day.

Would go back but probably only for a week to chill. For us it was a little remote.

Just as a footnote if anyone is snorkelling on the right side of the jetty and come across a diamond eternity ring - its mine. Came off in the sea whilst there.
