Hi,
There wasnt really a dress code to stick to altough I was quite diappointed to see some people wearing just their swim wear in the restaurant at lunch... quite disrespectful in a restaurant...when you can use sarons and thin t-shirts to cover up!
I have to say I didnt see any women wear denim at night, although lots of men di... I'm presuming like me - they opted for thin dresses and skirts to keep them cool as denim can be quite hot to wear.
Also, we ordered room service in the middle of the night on various occasions and it was good he he! Hope you're all looking forward now...mine seems so long ago and trying to sort out next years! It's a toss up between Dominican and Margarita at the minute
Hi Shackyl
It's another fairly good one

As with most reviews so far, the entertainment and location don't score highly, but the snorkelling does and there's the bus to Naama so it hasn't put me off!
Not worried about the lack of entertainement as I'm not used to having this laid on when I'm on holiday anyway. All the stuff that's important to me on a holiday seems to be there at the hotel.
I emailed the hotel to see if they could get a cake for Hubby's birthday on the 9th July and they said it would be complimetary, just let them know what time I want him to get it (the cake that is!!). So if you are there come along and sing happy birthday and get a piece of cake - the more the merrier.
In the email from the hotel this week they also said that they were doing aromatherapy massages on the beach - guess where you'll find me on Friday the 9th !!
Slightly off topic Sorry. But hubby and brother are keen to get a hot towel shave - aparently they are supposed to be good !?! Does anyone know where they could get one?
Cheers
Angela

Debs
Glad to hear the review about the food, seems that they have read the cards that people filled in before they left . I know you will all have a great holiday as this hotel wants to please everybody.
Thanks for pointing out that review, things do seem to be getting better, only 2 weeks on Thursday for me and mine so not long now, hope everyone has a fab time ,all enjoy
Ann
We fly out on the 7th, not long to go now so trying to prepare everything.
Im not too sure about the currency sitch. Ive had all different opinions on what to take. Am i best to take some E £'s and some $$?
If anyone can help please do!!
Hopefully might see some of you there!!?
If not will post all details when i get back, 22nd July.
Just another question for all you who have already been..
''Is the evening meal split into set sittings or just eat when you like
Rgs
Gordon
Hi Gordon, The rest. is open and not two sittings. The best place to sit is the raised area to the left of serving. The sparrows tend to keep away from this area. If you know what l mean!!!!!
Good to see that latest review and good to see chips now in the all inclusive menu for the kids.
Hi Victor,
Fonseca.you can change English pounds for egyptian at the front desk or onsight bank, the front desk does not carry much cash and its best you go to the bank early evening,i think he,s got a day job.
you get between 10/11 egyptian to every 1 english pound, slightly better than i got in the uk
Gordon, all meals are buffet style,so no sittings,You may have to book the Italian restaurant, but when i used it,it was always empty.Cost about 40 english pounds for 4 of us including a couple of drinks.Beer and cocktails in the Italian were much better than the A/I option ,
Many thanks for the info, referring back to one of your previous posts about the 'belly belly'
Can you remember if the tablets you got from the Chemist was ''Ciprofloxacin'' - I only ask as there are a few in my party that take other prescription tabs and would like to be clear that they can take them ''if required''
Cheers
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Conrad. Restaurant Manager, Mahmoud, and all his staff can't do enough for you. I found the food to be fine.
Rooms nice and clean, towels changed twice a day.
Would go back but probably only for a week to chill. For us it was a little remote.
Just as a footnote if anyone is snorkelling on the right side of the jetty and come across a diamond eternity ring - its mine. Came off in the sea whilst there.
me and family are away next week we will have a look for you to see if we can find it for you
Thanks Murdo, although I don't hold out much hope. Hope you enjoy your holiday.
