we are also going on 21st july from gatwick - with our kids aged 16, 15 and 12.

re the building work - if you go back to the bottom of page 32 of this forum djanej has posted some onfo from a letter with her tickets - seems that this is the most we know.

i dont think its too bad as not all the reviews quote building work - my travel agent has said she will be finding out the latest for me beginning of july and i will post as soon as i know anything

Hiya yvonney, that was a quick reply, I've spoken to a girl from FC she said the only place you can see the work is as you approach the hotel, she said her friend had been and taken some photos, the work is behind a big fence well screened from the rest of the complex.
Anyway I'm sure it'll be fine have a great time, our kids are 15 and 11 both girls maybe bump into ya I'll be the one in the manchester city shirt!! sad, thats when I'm not diving!!

Along with my tickets there was a letter from FC saying there was building work but it would not affect our stay as it was at the back of the building if you read the reviews a couple of people said they could hear noise but not much others didnt bother mentioning the building work so cant be that bad if not mentioned and Shackyl was there recently and said she couldnt hear noise and her holiday was not affected by it and not to worry about it so ive just stopped bothering about it and hopefully itll be ok. FC did say also there was building work going on in and around SES itself as theyre buliding more hotels etc . I dont shop during the day dont know about you its too hot to shop i leave that till later in the evening so hopefully by the time we head into Naama the builders will be done for the day.
Anyway Bluescrew see you there listen out for the glasweigen accents thatll be us . Youll find us at the bar.

I will try my hardest to get onto HT whilst im there to let you know as you know i was inquiring about the internet abroad on the gen chat but ill try.
From other threads posted i asked the same question reguarding using switch but only in Sharm itself and roger says they do have the Cirrus or Meastro at the atms ther e possibly Shackyl may have noticed about the Conrad though . I need to beable to use my switch abroad so hopefully the Conrads ATM will take it and it would be easier.

Ps Can anyone else whos been recently and used the Conrads ATM let us know please.

Hi there,

Yes there is an ATM machine at the Conrad where I used switch card no problems.

Also, there's an internet section in the Billiards rooms for you to use. You will just need to get an internet card (payable at reception) where you scratch off a password to put into the PC to enable you to use internet.

Just a quick note about the building work. You can only see when you approach the hotel or go for a walk to the far right of the jetty and if you listen for it you will hear it otherwise if you're totally chilled like we were you won't!!!!! As far as I was concerned it didn't intrude on the holiday at all.

2 days to go eeeek im sooooo excited!My friend is out at the Conrad just now - got an email from her saying she is having a fantastic time She says weather's great, food's great and the pictures don't do it any justice!Not looking forward to my 10 hour wait at Birmingham though

Not long now. Friday morning will see me in the sea followed by brekkie then a massage on the beach.
