Saucer of milk for Mrs. Mac.
Good to see things appear to have picked up at the Conrad again. the new rep can only be an improvement.

Returned from the Conrad at the beginning of Sept and had the most fantastic holiday. Hotel was lovely, sea views spectacular and the staff - unbelievably helpful (with the exception of FC Rep Claire - with whom I had a 'bit of a run in!!! - but that's another story and she's left Conrad now anyway). Both adults and children alike thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and were very sad when it came to an end.

All comments from HT users were very useful and added to our holiday enjoyment - they also meant that we knew where to get medication for the 'bubbly bot' attacks!!!

Any one due to visit will have a wonderful time - so ENJOY!!!!!

.....forgot to add that Lorna the new Rep is fantastic - She came during our second week and sorted out all of the things Claire had 'forgotten' to do for our party. She is very hard working but also has time for all guests and staff. She was very helpful, particularly when my husband was taken ill while scuba diving and even arranged for a specialist doctor to come to the hotel to see to him!!!

hi all new to egypt forum...
we went to turkey this year and have booked to go back, however..........
freind is thinking of booking the conrad and asked me to take a look.....
im now thinking of changing my booking to go here, but can anyone who has been answer a few questions for me?
it says with first choice there is four bedded rooms but i cant seem to find any for july...do they have four bedded rooms and if not would a superior sea view be big enough for four with two little girls topping and tailing?
we have done this before with friends booked as if one of mine was going in with two of theirs and didnt have a problem once there....in halkidiki the staff actually put in extra bed for us although we couldnt book it form here like that...
also do the pictures do it justice or is it even better?
and lastly... the pictures of the rooms and balconies that go onto comunial balcony they seem to lead of to beach , is that right? and which rooms are these? would like to know before i book.

hoep you can help, the place looks amazing

thanks
tracy

Hi pink-flamingo
I was there in july this year and it was at least 45+. but you can sit in the sea if it gets to hot for you, as for the 4 bedded room i'm afraid that i don't know but if you e mail the hotel direct i am sure they will help you, it is a nice hotel, i have also been to turkey and i would go back to both places but the conrad first as it had all i wanted, sun sea sand and coral, all on the door step, staff are lovely and i read that they now have a good rep, Claire was pretty rubbish, wonderful, hope you enjoy if you go

tracy,
Don't know about 4 beds in a room. It says they can sleep up to four though. We had 3 in one of our rooms, the beds being 2 single beds and a fold away bed. we were there in july and it was mega hot but brilliant. once you learn hoe to cope with the heat it is no problem. at one point it was 56 on our balcony.
the pictures do not do the hotel justice. the view is breathtaking. we are going back to the Conrad in July next year so maybe see you there,
have a good look at the rest of this thread there is lots of info. and piccies.

Forgot to say that it appears to be only first choice or eclipse who go there from the uk.

Check the price with http://www.eclipsedirect.co.uk as well as First Choice, same company but Eclipse are often cheaper

Hi Pink Flamingo, i stayed one of the superior rooms , there was one huge double bed and a very comfortable spare but if they were able to do so the room wuoldnt be too bad if a third was put in :)
Incidentally the hotel is great and i cant wait to go back, very hot but was able to sunbathe for hours either on the beach or just lying in the sea.

Yes they do have 4 bedded rooms. I was there this July with FC. Two kids 11 & 8 were fine in good size single beds.

We had a sea view room (we thought we booked for superior, but not) rm1127 i think. Perfection :sun
Go for it, MrsMac

ive priced it with eclipse seems to be about £400 dearer with them which is a bit strange
got good price for 6 adults and 3 kids with first choice for all double superior sea view for just under £6000 from newcastle beginning of july
seems good?
this works out at around £2000 for two adults and one child
after where we went last year this seem like paradise

No, not that its not safe, just no where to go apart from the Baron next door. There is a beach front walk way which is about 1km, but there was building work going on (july05)at the Baron and you couldnt walk past it round to the head land.

Thats the only downfall of the Conrad in my opinion, as I like to go for a wee donner at night time.Still the best place though.

is there anywhere near by taxi?

Nearest town is Naama Bay, there's a bus from the hotel several times per evening
