Thanks for that, just had a look, hope it lives up to our expectations! we don't go till September 14th.
Tip, on the hotels website under questions it states you can email the hotel prior to departure and book the a la carte restaurants, might be worth a try!! save queing!

May not use a la carte that much, with two very fussy teenagers probarly will be lost on them. me and the better half will try them but maybe only once or twice.

Only 22 days now before we go cannot wait.

We have just booked 2 weeks at the Delphin Palace for next Easter holidays.......so exciting. I have been driving myself mad, reading reviews on the computer, trying to decide where to go. We were going to go to Egypt but couldn't find any hotels that offered the level of service that Turkish 5 stars do and they were so much more expensive. So it's back to Lara beach for us.
We got a good price from Thomas cook.... £ 1 890 for 4 of us. Our eldest counts as an adult here. First Choice were quoting almost £800 more.
Just hope the weather is hot enough.

What dates have you booked for? We are thinking of going at Easter too, we are already booked for xmas this year but thought we may book for easter next year. did you get your prices from the wimnter price range?

Hi Rosie, went online and then phoned up and managed to get this price. We are going on the 6th April for two weeks. Can't wait!! We were at Titanic in May - wished we'd gone to see Delphin - didn't quite make it!

I phoned the hotel but the woman I spoke to said their prices for next year aren't out yet. She said it's much cheaper to book through an agent than directly through them. She said the hotel is into its summer service by April and that everything would be open. Hope this is true. We booked through Thomas Cook. We only have one room between the 4 of us. It was a hell of alot more to book interconnecting rooms and if we just booked two rooms they would definately not be interconnecting. We knocked off the price of inflight meals ( think you get them anyway?!)and extra baggage allowance which brought the price down a bit.
We were looking at Club Voyage in Belek. We could have booked a family bungalow for £749 for 2 weeks through holidayhotels.com and I found flights for another £750 for 4 of us. Thomas cook have withdrawn this at the moment and no one could tell me why. It looks like they are building another hotel next door. Didn't want our kids to be the only British kids there. They love making friends on holiday. Go on....book for Easter!!! Thomas cook have sold out for May half term already.

I believe you get the meal and extra baggage anyway as its a premier holiday dont you? I may be talking nonsense here as i havent looked in the book to confirm this, but having looked at so many brochures and different prices etc im a little confused and what with premium and premier im going round in circles lol. we have booked the extra legroom at £90 for 2 of us as premier was sold out apparently. Would love to book for easter but we are going to look at the other hotels when we are there at Xmas. Cant wait for xmas, we have had our summer hols already this year so xmas will be the next big one. Cant wait!

Thomas cook do not have the delphin as a premier holiday and emma 0 has booked with them.You will get the extra baggage with first choice and meals included. You get to keep the cost down by opting to exclude meals and baggage with thomas cook. We have opted not to have the meals on our thomas cook flight because it was awful at easter, the first choice food is much better. We are booked with first choice next year. I think you are confusing the premier holidays with premium seats maybe?
I am so looking forwards to our holiday in 6 weeks with this horrible weather.
I have been on first choice today and the Delphin is not coming up at all next summer now, I cannot think it is completely booked up!!

We had premier? seats when we went with First choice to portugal in may, which included meal, 2 free drinks, extra baggage allowance and the first 4 front rows in the aircraft and the delphin is classed as a premier holiday with First choice? LOL i havent got the book in front of me so i could be wrong. I went on their own website and they had nothing for the rest of 2007

well i must say that i have never been abroad , yet , i go to Bulgaria in 3 days time , but my best friends mum in law has just come back from the Delphin hotel , she has travelled all over the world and stayed in many many places and hotels , and she said that this is the best hotel that she has EVER stayed in , hope this helps and you have a great time

Just a quick warning to all going to the Delphin Palace.

I have been on the Holiday Check web and I have translated some of the German reviews posted on there.

There have been a number of instances where the tour operators or the hotel have over allocated the rooms, up to the point of -21 one one particular day.!!! It seems to be the independent traveller and the small travel agents that have been effected, the people are then farmed out to other hotels, in some cases not of the same class rating, for one or two nights.

I hope that these are isolated occurences while they sort out the influx of British guests to this hotel.
I will be phoning First Choice and asking for the strongest assurance that will not happen upon my arrival!!

So is it all German Holiday Makers who have been farmed out to other hotels.

Were they told at the airport, that must be horrid for them.

We have just booked next summers hols at the Barut Lara, we go on 20th July for 2 weeks, the travel agent laughed when she asked if we had been to Turkey before and we said no, she said "but your booking next summers without even going on the first holliday" we said " yes, but we are assuming all we have read on this forum is true and are taking a chance" Of course we will have at look at the Barut at Xmas while we are there.

That is what every said to me Rosie when i booked the Delphin Palace for next summer, before going to turkey for the first time in a couple of weeks.

But this site and trip advisor have never let me down yet!

Glad to hear it because we have booked on the strength of this site!!! I would also like to say anyone thinking of booking try to get a price from another company, we did, it was cosmos, and thomas cook said they would match the price we got it down to £2,271 for the 2 of us in july for 2 weeks.
I cant wait for xmas to come round really looking forward to it.
