It's distressed my other half so much in the past that he's made me wait to board with everyone else which of course caused everyone to be held up as we are slower than them.
I would happily wait till last to board if someone wants my disability.
That is just disgusting. Some people should be ashamed of themselves. One of the people we are going away with next week ( ) is registered disabled. Wont need any assistance as such but god help anyone who makes derogatory comments about her.
I think my daughter is really well behaved on a flight. We keep her amused as much as we can - books, stickers, her DS etc. Sometimes she does get a bit restless but I think that is normal and acceptable. I wouldnt let her run riot and on the occasions she has accidently kicked the chair in front, I am quite vocal about it and always apologise to the person. If I can be polite and considerate then why cant others?
As for reclining seats. Sometimes it is unavoidable, medical reasons etc, but sometimes it is just plain ignorance. Ive always been lucky I suppose because I have never personally experienced it, but my mum had someone in front of her last week on her flight home and she said it was very uncomfortable and awkward especially as mum suffers from DVTs and needs to be able to stretch and move her legs as much as possible. The chair wasnt even put into the upright position when they ate despite being politly asked to do so. Some people are just rude.
