Can anyone help?
I am trying to find out more about a cancelled Easyjet flight, details below
Flight 6065 from Bristol to Valencia.
on 7th February 2009
departure time 17.15
On the day in question, I was told by two different members of the Easyjet staff that the plane was cancelled due to 'staff running out of hours'. Now, having spent many weeks and have sent many emails trying to obtain compensation from Easyjet but now they are telling me that the problem was due to ´de-icing´and I am not entitled to any compensation.
I have asked them to support this statement by answering the following questions:-
1) WHERE THE PLANE WAS WHEN THE DE-ICING PROBLEM OCURRED (BRISTOL?)
2) DETAILS OF WHEN THE PLANE WAS NEXT USED (DATES, TIMES, POINT OF ORIGEN AND
DESTINATION)
But they responded with :-
I am sorry you are unhappy with our previous response, however, as you have been
previously advised we are not obliged to disclose such sensible information.
As the previous agent advised, we are only able to provide the official documents sent
by the airports only following the requests of the aviation authorities, who would be
dealing with this issue on your behalf, therefore as soon as you will obtain proper
documentation, it will enable us to continue investigating your claim.
I have sent an email to the AUC but they are taking 10 weeks before they will reply.
Is there anyway that you can help me find out the answers to my questions?
