there is still plenty of space on FCA16.
Does anyone know why FC has changed the baggage allowance on Prem Service from 30k to 23k I booked last August for this August thinking 30k would be a good amount for 2 weeks luggage only to find out it has been changed without anyone being informed not impressed!!!

For an explanation, have a look on FCA's website. I'm told its because your case gets moved up to 20 times from check-in to you collecting it so its for H&S reasons (and no doubt their fuel bill!). I'm flying with them long haul on Wednesday and have booked an extra 10kg for diving equipment. I'll be taking a single case which will be in the 27kg range so I'm hoping they'll accept it. The new regulations come in to force on 1st May 2007. I've double checked with them and they say I'm ok so fingers crossed. Last thing you need is they refuse carrage at check-in and make you repack!

sorry Darren, I know you're busy getting ready for your hols, but just out of interest we are off to Jamaica from Gatwick on 02.04.07 FCA052, flying premium. Is it showing full? Also on the tickets it shows we must check in 3 hours before is this about right?

The system is showing no availability so I assume that means the flight will be full. 3 hours prior sounds a long time for checking in unless that is something specific to Gatwick? It's normally 90 mins prior to your departure time, thats when I'll be checking in on weds morning anyway!

I believe that seats are allocated on booking so if you don't get a choice of seats for early check-in , I really can't see the point of driving an hour up to man. the day before.
I don't mind having to be at the airport hours before on the day as that's part of the fun!

Im booking Sep29th to Margarita from LGW tomorrow! Can anyone tell me how many seat are left in premier?! I hope they're not gone by tomorrow!!
For commercial reasons, airlines may not disclose such information publicly. They may say that a certain class is available or full, or indicate that there are at least 5 seats, etc., but they may not quote the exact number of seats available.
Even if anyone has access to such restricted information, it is best that precise seat availability details are not disclosed on the forums as it could create problems for us. It would be best just to make a call to the airline to see if the number of seats which you require are still available.
