Thanks Alan,

I'll give them a try - we need to book flights to confirm the rent of an apartment. :D

Try Southall Travel (they have a website), we have just booked flights from Heathrow to Goa via Mumbai for Oct with Jetairways for £467, which I reckon is good value. Have not flown with them before but have spoken to several people who have & they are ok. The connections are pretty good in Mumbai too. - good luck

Monarch flies from both Manchester Gatwick and as they have the biggest capacity on the route are the best bet for last minute deals. They fly out from both places on a Thurs. And Sat returning on the Sun. Alan

Having read all the replies in this topic i still can't find an answer to this question.

Can you fly into Goa on a charter flight and return scheduled 6 months later.

Thanks in advance.

Definately not! If you go by charter, you have to return by charter within 28 days. To stay longer than 28 days, you will have to go scheduled flight.

I have been looking for days now for schedule flight, preferably from Manchester, to Goa.

Problem is the stop over times are as long as the flying time, I really don't want to travel across London with 2 suitcases and a laptop.

Anyone got any hints, suggestions travel agents?

We flew out last Nov from Manchester to Goa flight from Manchester was with Emirates via Dubai I think the stop over was about 4 hours in Dubai, we then stayed a couple of nights In Mumbai before flying down to Goa with Spice Jet, the cost was about £400 to Mumbai return and then about £50 return Goa - Mumbai

Lez I Hope this may help

Thanks Birdie.

I have looked at that route it has gone up a bit now £700 to Bombay.

$220 return Bombay -- Goa.

The best I can find for my dates is £504 from Heathrow to Goa return with Jet Airways
