That's a real bummer for you, Denham.
I hope they can sort it out for you with the minimum of disruption and cost.
I read on Tripadvisor that last year they'd put the wrong visa in passports - so the wife's visa was in the husband's passport and vice versa.
They eventually issued a letter explaining the problem which was to be shown at immigration.
After a bit of a worry, everything was fine.
Fingers crossed for you.
After all the worry of re-entering within 2 months, first the airline checked our visas, nothing said and allowed onto the flight! Arrived in Dabolim expecting to see some notices about the new rules, nothing. Quickly got to immigration desk, visa checked, stamped and here we are!!! Not one mention of the new regulations anywhere on the journey, so all those sleepless nights were for nothing.
Thanks for everyone's advise and thoughts over the last couple of weeks!!
I have now got 6 weeks here to forget about all the worries!!
Thanks Prettypolycat, still waiting for vfs to reply, just hope they can supply us with a letter to explain the problem, that would be easier than sending them back. Hubby does not know yet, he will go ape when he gets home tonight. Glad you got there ok Squigs have agreat time. Denham

Just returned from another great holiday in Goa and are looking forward to our next 'fix' in February, trouble is this new 'cant return within 2months' I had a quick look at the visa postings and as yet only one memeber has returned (as far as I can see) VFS website are saying can return if we complete a form with original holiday detail and a payment of £7 per person.
I just wondered if anyone else has complete the form and paid the money........... we just seem to pay pay pay to the Indian Gov
Thanks in advance
Sorry if this should have been with the visa postings
